Major geek-asm: Google is coming out with their ‘hard drive’ . I’ve come to have a non-homosexual love with everything that is Google. ((Chicago (IL) - Google Drive, or Gdrive as it is better known, has to be the most anticipated Google product so far. When it arrives, Gdrive will likely cause a major paradigm shift in how we use computers and bring Google one step closer to dethroning Windows on your desktop.)) The Gdrive sounds really cool and should save people money on buying new external hard drives. They could use their own hard drives for gaming and other things. It depends on how well it handles files and how much space they’re willing to give you. It was the restaurant The Eggroll Machine, cute name, and I realized I’d rode by bike pass this place numerous times and looked inside. I could smell the Chinese food cooking every time. It is kind of a community favorite, though I hadn’t had a chance to eat there yet. I could care less about stupid franchise restaurants like McDonalds’ and Taco Bell, but when a locally owned company burns down, I feel little sad about that. "Whoa..." __________________________ Keanu ‘whoa’ Reeves cast in live Fox version of Cowboy Bebop Now, I’m a huge fan of Cowboy Bebop, but Keanu Reeves in the role of Spike? Really? Keanu is only good when he doesn’t speak and Spike in the animated show speaks a great deal. I will say this about Cowboy Bebop; Western audiences seem to relate to the show more than the Eastern audiences. In the hands of another studio, this movie could actually work. Here’s that stylish opening credit sequence Can Fox, a studio proven to make hundreds of crappy movies, handle something like this? Probably not… Wasn’t it Fox that thought mainstream audiences didn’t like Sci-fi movies? Faye Valentine : Every anime fanboys dream girl. How are you going to get real woman into a costume like that? What actress would want to walk around three months in something like that? Not that I’d complain if she did.

Random Stuff ~ Shady Business practices : It looks someone is paying people to write good reviews on Amazon for their own product! The company recommended that they rate down people who gave negative reviews of said product. This is really low real low. The guy that wrote up the blog about this should be commended for catching this fraud. ~ The Nostalgia Critic discusses Nicktoons : I wasn’t a really a fan of Nicktoons, but I remember most of these shows. Ren & Stimpy was kind of funny, and some episode still out more than others. (Like when a ghost gets scared by the two and unzipped out of a costume and turns out to be a fat black man that jumps into a Cadillac.) That was when I said, “WTF was that?” ~Funny misplaced censored bleeps Brilliant, simply brilliant.

What is wrong with Joaquin Phoenix? First he says that he’s going to retire from acting. And, he says he’s doing it for a musical career. Now, we’re told the music career is going to be a rap career. What? Now, I’ve seen a couple of videos of him ‘performing’ a various clubs. And, he’s terrible. He’s so terrible that I have to wonder if he’s just putting on a show for everyone. This might all be a complex joke on his part. Or at least I hope so… I mean how can he possibly think he make a career out of this? I see him as a K-Fed type. K-Fed still has to live off his babies’ Mommy and something tells me he’s not going to get a Grammy anytime soon. Don’t take my word for it, listen and watch the power of Phoenix . I like Phoenix as an actor, but not so much as a rapper. I hope he realizes that soon.
