Can we say this picture has been enhanced a little? Looks like someone shrunk her head a bit to give her a more pleasing look, as if that’s possible. At first, the guy (?) disturbed me (Boy George?), but then I found myself more troubled by Rosie’s enormous dome. Can’t this guy learn how to put on lipstick the correct way?

After watching Talladega Nights at the theater, I went to a gas station nearby to get some gas in the car. I walked inside and noticed two guys before me standing at the counter, waiting for the checker. The checker woman came out of the bathroom and hobbled over to the counter. “Sorry, I was trying to get the swelling down,” she said. The checker was an older white woman with brown hair with traces of gray on the sides. She was overweight and had a few chins for good measure. She wasn’t a pleasant sight to look at, but then again neither am I. Swelling down? I don’t want to even know, I thought. One of the guys leaned over and looked at her forehead. “Whoa, it looks like a bee sting.” “I hit my head,” she said, sheepishly rubbing her forehead. She gave no further information. I wrote a review on X-men 3 a few months back. I wrote that John Powell’s score was basically terrible and didn’t fit into the whole X-Men universe. Well, I bought a copy of the soundtrack and I’m impressed with what I’ve heard from the score. I have to say that I’m sorry John Powell for all the bad things I said about your score. Can you forgive me? While I felt John Ottman did a better job with his X2 score, Powell wrote a score that’s actually better than the actual mess of a plot called X3. He uses a full choir of women for his wonderful and tragic Phoenix theme. As I said before, this is probably his best theme and really one of the few themes that stand out from the rest of the score. It felt like it he used Ottman’s Jean Grey theme as a template for his new Phoenix theme. The other prominent theme worth mentioning is a nice theme for Angel, and it is a nice contrast from the dark Phoenix theme. It is the second theme that gets most of the playtime on th...
