Putin and Wagner Group rebellion



I was having a lousy weekend and feeling depressed, so I slept most of those two days.  When I woke up for a few minutes, I read about Putin almost being overthrown by a mercenary group.  It was a merc army run by a catering and restaurant owner.  I am NOT making this up.  So, what if Colonel Sanders or Dave Thomas owned a real army?  Despite not having that much support, he came very close to overtaking Moscow.  

I went to sleep and woke up Sunday, and the coup was over before it started.  The Russian Colonel Sanders backed down and left.  It was a form of coup blue balls.  Russia was starting to lose news attention due to the Titan implosion.    Hey, let’s allow Colonel Sanders to try to take out Putin.

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I’ve written about some messed up things in my time as a blogger, but this story might just top the cake.  And, I mean really.  If you are offended by porn and the porn industry, don’t read this blog.  However, this might be one of the strangest and creepiest things I’ve seen and read about.  It just seems so wrong... Sega Saturn Netlink (One of the first official online consoles) Do you remember the Sega Saturn's online functions? Before 13 year old zit-faced boys talked smack to you on the Xbox Live, there was The Sega Netlink. Part 2 and Part 3 Wiki page . While going through the great post on the Sega Saturn at Eidolon's Inn , I came across the information that there was a network link up to the Sega Saturn. It should be noted that there was an near-online option to the Sega Genesis through the Sega Channel. However, the Saturn had big plans for network gaming at the time. The technology simply wasn't there for all their plans, because the speed was 28.8 k. The Saturn never lived up to its fullest potential because of sluggish sells. I found this funny, because Sega had a better experience with the Dreamcast and its online function (Phantasy Star Online).
