No Katie for Batman II (All Fans cheer)

Sorry Katie, there's always hope of a Battlefield Earth 2.

Well, I have good news, Katie Holmes won't be in the next Batman movie.

If there ever was a problem with Batman Begins, it was the poor performance by Katie Holmes. When you have a movie packed with great actors, it had to be difficult to stand out from those performances, and she wasn't capable of doing it. During the entire movie, Katie had this stupid smirk on her face like she thought something was very funny. She read her lines in this hazy Xenu induced state.

((Claiming "scheduling conflicts," the 28-year-old actor has confirmed she will not reprise her Batman Begins role in the upcoming sequel The Dark Knight, despite the fact that her character, Rachel Dawes, remains in the script.

Rumors that Holmes would no longer be a part of the Batman franchise have been floating around since Batman Begins opened in June 2005, when the New York Post's Page Six reported as much. In October, the fansite Batman on Film quoted a "reliable source" saying "Holmes will not be back for The Dark Knight."))

At first, there were rumors that the WB bosses weren't too happy about the goofy things going on during the whole Tom-gate thing, and they were considering not having her come back for The Dark Knight. Yet, after that, there were reports that she would return for the next Batman movie, and they wrote a part for her.

Perhaps, asking for Xenu for career advice wasn't a good idea, Katie.

Some one less idiotically placed should have played her. I watched Phone Booth yesterday, same thing, she just doesn't work out in some things... then i watched Blues Brothers, just to get it out of my mind.

You're correct, the character was written correctly, but someone with a stronger presence should have played her. She just comes across too weak.

No doubt about it, she was poorly cast in phone booth, (she was still smirking!)

Blues Brothers, certainly in my top ten movies of all time.

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I recently watched Lower Decks on Net-flicks and found myself amazed with the performance from the young and lovely Shannon Fill , who played the character Ensign Sito Jaxa. a U of L cheerleader gets into a little bit of trouble...

The Internet can be a dangerous place, and things that you did with that camera can come back to ruin your life. A very attractive University of Louisville cheerleader by the name of Becca Manns took some pictures of herself naked and also having sex with a dude. Either her memory stick or camera was stolen, and the theft uploaded the graphic photos onto the World Wide Web. That was when the shit hit the fan (Louisville Fan). She ended up having to leave the program and probably school. (I am currently enrolled in UofL as well, but you won't find any photos of me.) I sort of feel sorry for her because she did one crazy thing, and now it has ruined her life. However, I have to say this to her: You were given a chance to do something many people would never get a chance to do, go to an University. Bernie Mac is Dead A bit of upsetting news... ((CHICAGO (AP) — Bernie Mac, the actor and comedian who teamed up in the casino heist caper "Ocean's Eleven" and gained a prestigious Peabody Award for his sitcom "The Bernie Mac Show," died Saturday at age 50. )) I remember watching him on Def Comedy Jam , where he really broke out. If you get a chance, check out some of his earlier work on that show. I think he was able to really shine in some of the roles he took in his movie career. He seemed to always play the creepy guy that wore bad clothes and talk in strange patterns. Friday : He was great in this limited role. He played Pastor Clever, the horny Pastor.
