Comment: It looks like Star Jones wasn't enough for the Queen of Nice (Yeah, right), because now she has her meat-hooks on Oprah and her very close 'friend' Gayle.

I couldn't agree more. This is the same question I ask the religious right; Does it really matter if they're gay or straight? There is an element of the gay community that wants to out people whether they want it or not. Let people be, you can't go poking around people's business like religious nuts.

You notice Ellen isn't trying to out anyone? I think Rosie's personality is what is behind this, not her sexual orientation, because let's face it, her moniker, Queen of Nice, is much like calling a 6'5 320lb guy Tiny... a joking referral.

You're correct about Ellen. I think that's why people generally like her now, because she doesn't try to make headlines or out people. She seems real.

Once Rosie left her show, she's been attacking everyone, and I tend to agree with you about Rosie's personality.

I still don't understand why they hired her on The View.

I do... because they know that she will keep saying things and keep the View in the news... and since she is a single person, they can play it off with the disclaimer that her views don't necessarily reflect the views of ABC.

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I recently watched Lower Decks on Net-flicks and found myself amazed with the performance from the young and lovely Shannon Fill , who played the character Ensign Sito Jaxa. I’ve written about some messed up things in my time as a blogger, but this story might just top the cake.  And, I mean really.  If you are offended by porn and the porn industry, don’t read this blog.  However, this might be one of the strangest and creepiest things I’ve seen and read about.  It just seems so wrong... Starfleet Academy canned. It got an F

So, they finally pulled the plug on this shitshow.  I tried my best to get through Star Trek Discovery, and I could only get through the first season.  I checked out.  This wasn’t a show for me.  I wasn’t even going to try to sit through Starfleet Academy.  I had no interest in 32nd-century stuff.  I care about the 23–25 centuries.  Instead of giving us a follow-up to Picard and Lower Decks, they gave us this crap.   Despite being canceled, the Academy will have another season, but nothing else.   It is time for a change-up.  Put some people who care about Trek and not this bullshit.  Perhaps I can get back into it.
