I've always felt
the uproar for the changing of the Star Wars movies is a little
foolhardy, because he's been changing the Star Wars films in the 70s.
-I agree that GL
had no business directing the prequels. He should have let another
group of directors direct his films.
-I also think he
harmed the Indiana Jones 4 film.
-Howard the Duck

You know the Han Shot First shirt Lucas was wearing that was mentioned in the video as proof he was messing with Star Wars fans?
His company makes those shirts... so yeah, he is messing with fans all the way to the bank.
I actually heard that he owned those shirts and selling them.
GL I believe part of him does want to lighten up the character of Han, thus giving him a chance to fire at the same time as Greedo (or second as in the 90s version).
I find that interesting because GL had a lot of influence in the IJ series and Indy kills a lot of people in cold blood. (remember that opening scene in temple of doom?)
