Bucky Larson not born to be a star?


Wow, this looks bad. It seems to be based on the porn industry, but it feels like a direct to video film. While only 18 critics have seen the movie, Bucky Larson has the prideful distinction of being 0% on Rotten Tomatoes. Way to go, Bucky!
Also did I mention this was a Adam Sandler joint? I remember watching some random clips and realizing this was produced by Sandler because all of his friends were in starring roles. I think there is a story to be told about a kid growing up and realizing that his parents were Porn Stars, but this apparently isn't it.
Here's the thing, it really doesn't matter what critics have to say about a Sandler joint, if his movies make money. The movie opened this weekend and didn't even crack the top ten...ouch. It opened 15th below the Smurfs with a $1,450,000. And, the movie did cost 10 million to make...double ouch.

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I recently watched Lower Decks on Net-flicks and found myself amazed with the performance from the young and lovely Shannon Fill , who played the character Ensign Sito Jaxa. Madison Swan/Mia Malkova: Not so Mother's Day

I’ve written about some messed up things in my time as a blogger, but this story might just top the cake.  And, I mean really.  If you are offended by porn and the porn industry, don’t read this blog.  However, this might be one of the strangest and creepiest things I’ve seen and read about.  It just seems so wrong... Shrek the Third

Shrek the Third It’s not really that funny. Shrek 3 isn’t very funny or entertaining. It’s not even a bad movie, it’s just boring. While the other two movies tried to give us some adult humor, with Dreamworks ripping Disney a new one in both movies, Shrek 3 simply doesn’t bother to be funny. I probably laughed three times during the entire time. The allure and humor of the first two films are gone in Shrek 3. So, who is to blame for this movie? It’s the screenwriters. The script is the reason this movie doesn’t work. The story is like that cheap soda you buy from a knock-off brand: it taste bland and doesn’t have that kick that the real sodas have. The jokes feel incomplete and dry. As I watched the movie, I came up with better jokes and storyline progressions than the actual movie.
