Freakazoid first
episode “Dance of Doom”
Once again I listened to a podcast and decided to watch the first episode. It is
not an origin story, so we just jump into the story. And, you can
clearly see Bruce Timm influences in the first episode.
Notes
-Batman actually
shows up in the episode. It is clearly the Bruce Timm version too.
-A very low
voiced lady says, “That's the night I am having something
removed.” Wow, I can't believe they got away with a sex change
joke.
~Who has beavers
in pet stores? Why is there a villain that has the power to turn
beavers into gold? WTF?
~On the 4:26 mark
of part 2, I can't believe they got away with that visual.
~Cave Guy is
clearly a take on Jim
Buckus from Gilligan's Island.
