  Friday night is a great time for... football.  I am not a sports fan, but I fondly remember The Last Boy Scout.  It was one of those hyper-action movies Shane Black wrote.  Directed by Tony Scott and produced by Joel Silver, not to be confused with Ron Silver.  Throw in Bruce Willis and music by Michael Kamen, and you got the whole 90s movie shebang: Bang Bang.  At this time, people were getting a little bit of an action movie overload, and it only made a little over 110 million on a 43 million budget.  Not great, but the movie did make back its budget through rewatches on cable and video.   I've come to really love this movie that floated around in the late 80s and early 90s.  It is a demo of the Michael Bay stuff that would come out today.  Future stars played smaller parts.   Here is the best part of this movie.  The bad guys actually won in real life.  Remember, this movie is centered around the g...

  You can't make this up.  ICE arrested Milo Yiannopoulos.  Yep, the gay conservative who was the water boy for Trump for nearly eight years was rounded up like an illegal alien.  2016, he was the gay pitchman for Trump.  He got cancelled and became a "straight" and Christian grifter.  You helped create this monster, and sit down and take it like a dude, Milo.   During the GamerGate era, Milo was an important person.  When the movement was dying, he leaked some GameJourno Pro posts and revealed how deeply corrupt the journos were.  Somewhere, Milo lost his way and got too close to the Trump shit storm.  Now, that storm is taking him away.   The best part of the story is that Laura Loomer snitched on him and got him arrested.  Yes, clay/rubber face Loomer got him pinched.   I don't get into politics anymore, but this one is juicy.   Let them fight...

  Anyone who has read my blog back in the day is fully aware that I hate, no, loathe, Perez Hilton.  He was the large turd of the blog world.  He would draw these stupid things over famous people's photos, like penises and things even more childish.   Because the Kino guys are looking back at CA, I've been getting back into Channel Awesome. In their heyday, I looked up to these guys.  Today, I actually pity most of them.  They've shown their true colors, and I don't find them appealing.   Spoony refuses to do anything but tweet.  Angry Joe is not even close to being himself and is just getting larger than Jupiter.  Linsey Ellis is afraid of her SJW fans attacking her and avoids her old CA character.  Film Brain is hanging on by a thread and still refuses to get a real job.  I think Todd in the Shadows is doing okay.   The videos below were from a series called "Spooning with Spoony".  It would be CA characters waking up in bed with Spoony, some knowingly, others unknowingly.  That has aged well, given that some content creators are a bit creepy.  Internet humor was a little too edgy back then, huh?   BTW, I found these over on KF in the Linsey folder....

  This is so strange.  Seeing the Cheers set filmed in a realistic approach is a sight to behold.  The Cheers cast members seem meaner and ruder than their sitcom versions.  While both shows share a universe, the Cheers guys are not as funny.  St. Elsewhere is a drama, and Cheers is a comedy.   The Cheers set is fuller in this episode than it is on the actual show.  I loved seeing the TNG crew walking around the DS9 sets with their brighter lighting and music.  Seeing the dramatic lighting and extra...extras is an interesting side look at the Cheers set.   By the way, this crossover happened early in the Cheers series.  They mention Coach, who died later in the series.    The St. Elsewhere cast just stops by the Cheers bar, has their chat, and moves on.  The Cheers crew cameos and moves on.  Elsewhere just passes through.  I had completely forgotten about this crossover.   Did you know Mickey ...

  I always thought the F-word meant a cigarette in the UK.  And there are links to the word, which is connected to the old term "a bundle of sticks".  I never knew it also meant a British-style meatball.  I did a "wait, what?" It's a real name for British meatballs .   Given it is 2026, it is a bit jarring to hear with my sensitive ears.  My 1990s ears give me a chuckle.  

  The Knightfall comic series was the story that got me into comic books in the 90s, that and the death of Superman.  In the 90s, DC went dark, really dark.  They pushed, destroyed, and rebuilt their iconic characters just to see what they were made of.  During this era, DC's heroes looked different after they were torn down.  What kind of person are you when they strip away everything?  Are you still the person you were before the fall? The Knightfall series brought Batman to his knees, literally.  Bane broke Batman physically and mentally.  With his back broken, Bruce had to step down from Batman.  Another, darker Batman had to take over.  After the new Batman went crazy, Bruce and his team had to take down the new Batman.  This new DC animated series has me worried.  The comic book story is great, but can we trust DC animation after The Killing Joke and Hush versions?  They made major changes that severely harmed the ov...

There comes a point when you become the enemy of the Internet. While being mocked and memed, I've never seen someone this "bull-headed".    I've been watching the fast decline of the Quartering.  After GG, I used to watch him, but he's changed over the years.  He has become the very thing he hated.  He flagged down a couple of channels and has turned into Zoe Quinn. He doesn't fulfill his promises and has flagged his critics.  He's grifting on that Christian thing, and it's boring.  He was never a religious person and was a bit of a gooner.  He can't help himself.   Once he drifted away from culture war, video games, and pop culture, he lost his way.   Bryan wanted to make sure they felt the pain.  He went into that house to take down one woman, I believe.  He went there for Maddy, a very attractive and bright girl.  She represented everything he hated about women growing up.  He went upstairs and killed Maddy first, and then beat the living shit out of Kaylee.  This seems like he was angry with Kaylee being there.  He took it out on her.  Kaylee was never part of the plan.  His two other victims were not part of the plan either.   Even when he got back to work as a teacher's assistant, he couldn't keep his hatred toward women at bay.  He kept being strange and creepy, and the college fired him.   This is the thing about this case: I know some of the reasons he did the things he did. The crazy thing is that both these guys are now dead before their time.  And, I can't really watch the video of Belzer getting choked out.  It is part of the lore of Belzer and Hogan.  Both of them have had huge impacts on pop culture.   This video gives you a lot of insight into the lore behind the incident.  Belzer was the host of some shitty talk show on Lifetime.  Keep in mind that Lifetime aired reruns of Homicide: Life on the Streets, which co-starred Richard Belzer.  I watched most of the Homicide episodes on Lifetime.   It seems Mr. T was having a bad day, and Hogan was being Hogan.   You have Hogan, a racist liar, Mr. T, a crazy man, and Belzer, a strange comedian.  Mr.T and Hogan have had a long relationship.  They both were in Rocky III.  Hogan guest-starred in The A-Team.   Mr. T would appear at many WWE and WCW events alongside Hogan.  Heck, Mr. T showed up on Hogan's debut on WCW...

  I don't like this movie, but this character and all his scenes are freaking funny.  He sums up The Rock between 2005 and 2020.  Dewayne Johnson helped make the FF franchise better, but you have to make fun of him, too.  He comes in as if he's in another movie.   I love the baby oil on the arms joke.  It gets even creepier now due to P Diddy loving baby oil.   This guy is named  Dio Johnson !  He has the same last name as Dwayne Johnson, the person he is making fun of.  And, his character name in this movie is Detective Johnson.  Triple meta.   I checked, and Dio and Dwayne are not related.  They just look similar.  

  So, this chase involves a cat, two methheads, a college student, a ride-along, and carjacking.  This is freaking nuts.  They live in their car, their home, and proceed to destroy it in the chase.  It looks like the driver has been in numerous car chases, the way he blocks and boxes out the cops to stop the pit maneuvers.    Later in the chase, they both start throwing shit out the window and then begin to smoke meth during the chase.  Priorities, right?  The couple of cops get spiked, and they end up in a different jurisdiction.  The chase is called off, but the couple then carjacks a Karen, and the chase is on again.   By the way, this video has over 4 million views.

The Quartering ended up completely taking down the Kino channel without any strikes.  I still don’t know how he even managed that.  He bragged that he could do it, and two days later, he did.  Somehow, he has managed to unite the right and left to mock and call him out.  The Quartering can no longer attack Zoe Quinn or Anita, given that he uses the same tactics.  Hell, both Quinn and Mundane Matt admitted they flagged things down.  When Quinn is a bigger man about it, that is saying a lot.   My theory is that he was in a cuck like relationship. He got caught, the bull got outed, and he is playing complete damage control.  I think he doesn’t like that his current religious grift is outed as fake, that he wants to burn it all down.  Looking back at all the videos, he has some serious bounty issues.   The Internet never forgets, and Jeremy knows this.  He still wants to burn it all down.  Okay. 

  This is probably one of the saddest downfalls since Mundane Matt.  I used to like The Quartering's work before he became a mouthpiece for Trump.  He kept his political bullshit separate from his culture war and pop culture shit.  At some point, he shifted away from the nerdy stuff and became a Trump-shilling grifter. I stopped watching him after that.  He stopped commenting on things and started rereading the news.   Anyway, some people have allegedly had their channels struck by him.  They were mocking and criticizing him for some cuck stuff.  Keep in mind that he was there when Mundane Matt was caught, in 360p, false flagging. Cut to 2026, and Hamplanet is doing the same thing, You are now Mundane Matt, Jermery.  Dare I say that you are behaving like a Zoe Quinn? And nobody should behave like the mighty Quinn. I swear all these Internet people are going crazy.  Remember Tipster? 

  It feels kind of strange that Chuck Norris is gone.  Somehow, this movie has Shatner, Hasselhoff, Bateman, and Chuck Norris. I grew up watching Chuck Norris movies.   I wasn’t into the early kung fu stuff, but more of the shitty action movies.  The Missing in Action series comes to mind.  My favorite from that era was Invasion USA.  Norris single-handedly led an entire foreign invasion.   Norris and I would never see eye to eye politically, but he was part of pop culture's history.  The man was into everything.  Plus, we got the “long in the tooth” Chuck Norris jokes.  I still can’t believe people are still doing them.   In his later years, he was in everything.  He did that Wow of Warcraft commercial and had extended cameos in Dodgeball and The Expendables 2.  He was also in those infomercials that were on constantly at 2-4 AM.  You know the ones.   I can’t list everything here, but he had...

So, they finally pulled the plug on this shitshow.  I tried my best to get through Star Trek Discovery, and I could only get through the first season.  I checked out.  This wasn’t a show for me.  I wasn’t even going to try to sit through Starfleet Academy.  I had no interest in 32nd-century stuff.  I care about the 23–25 centuries.  Instead of giving us a follow-up to Picard and Lower Decks, they gave us this crap.   Despite being canceled, the Academy will have another season, but nothing else.   It is time for a change-up.  Put some people who care about Trek and not this bullshit.  Perhaps I can get back into it. 

  Kouri Richins was just found guilty.  She was the one who was looking for “That Michael Jackson shit.” This woman wrote a children’s book about her husband’s death.  This was after she gave him a drink full of Fentanyl.  There was so much in the drink that it would kill him a hundred times over. I just love that she was so sure she got away with it that she “wrote” a book to capitalize on it.   By the way, she did not write the book.  It was ghostwritten.  This was a grief book to “teach” kids about loss.  What a POS.  The name of the book is Are You With Me?   Yes, he was with you when his wife was found guilty.  Not sure if she will write a sequel.  She is Not With Us.   By the way, the channel changed the name of the interview video after her guilty verdict. 

  There are times when stereotypes are real.  This POS proves one of them.  When you think of a power-hungry Reddit mod, you think of this guy.  Bad skin and complexion, with a moldy smell emitting from the screen, this guy walks around on a cloud of self-entitlement.   This guy is the alpha-cuck of Reddit mods.  He truly thinks he did nothing wrong by posting a scam on his sub.  When people tried to say it was a scam, he deleted their comments like a dictator.   The more I look into this character, the more I hate him.  Stale2000 represents everything I hate about monitoring and flagging things on the Internet.  I’ve been on this Internet for a long time, and I’ve never met someone this delusional and power hungry.  He thinks power comes from holding, releasing, and withholding things.  He believes in the power of gatekeeping.  We should have all learned that this is a fool’s goal, think about both sides of GamerGate. Back in the day, I would look forward to watching X-Play, aka Gamespot TV, aka Extended Play.  Before Morgan Web, Lauren Fielder was the co-host of the future old man goblin, Adam Sessler.  Fielder was that hidden/undercover goth girl.  I kind of had a crush on her.  Not sure what she is doing today.  There is little to nothing about her.   I was into the show more when it was Extended Play and sort of dropped out when it became X-Play.  But I remember it under its newer name.  Kate Botello was the other female co-host before Web.  Like Web and Sessler, Botello turned out to have a good career in various things.  Hey, at least she is not spending her entire free time snarling at Internet trolls like Adam.  Keep in mind that Adam Sessler is a millionaire, and yet he spends his time yelling at trolls on social media.   Before the new G4 ruined the old one.  It is good to look back at a video game show with fond mem...

So, this guy tried to set free Luigi free from prison, posing as an FBI agent.  His only disguises were a driver’s license, a BBQ fork, and a pizza cutter.  Yep, that is it.  Of course, this raised red flags for the jail guards.   So, who is this mastermind who tried to free Luigi?  It wasn’t Mario.  It was just some random NPC named Mark Anderson, a mundane name.  He was just some pizza cutter in a pizza joint.  Why did he want to rescue the 2nd player character in Mario Bros.?   2026 is turning out to be a great year. 

You can’t keep a bad predator down, I guess.  No matter how many arrests and beatings a predator receives, they tend to fall back to the very thing that got them arrested.  Unlike other repeat criminals, they gain no monetary gain from their crimes.   Kurt Lemke was one of those under-the- radar predators from the Riverside sting.  He was the puffy-faced predator who left the interview within two minutes.  My favorite part is he was a truck driver, way to keep it cliché, dude.  I am also guessing he is a Halo fan because his screen name was haloballfan.  He only got a year in prison and a lifetime listing on the RSO.  Well, good old squishy face ended up getting arrested again last year .  He basically had “possession of obscene material”.   At this point, we should just build a prison just for predators and keep them in there.  Most of these guys will re-offend.  

Remember Stacey Dash?  I used to have the biggest crush on her in the 90s.  Like Jada, she was one of those light-skinned girls who was stunningly pretty.  As she has grown older and wiser, I haven’t found her as attractive.  I think she was at her hottest in Mo’ Money, damn.   Check out her King Magazine spread . I didn’t think I would have to write about this again. If you can remember, Scott Adams is a cartoon/comic strip artist.  He made the totally unfunny Dilbert comic universe.  I always remember lame white-collar people posting their strips on their office walls.  Being a blue-collar black man, I never understood the nature and humor of these strips.   Anyway, Adams made some really racist remarks that even the most racist person would not make.  Claiming that white people need to just move away from black people if they value their lives.   Well, Adams has cancer, and it has spread to his entire body and left him unable to walk.  He only has a short period of time to live.  Having lived through a life-threatening condition, I understand what he is going through.  I won’t forgive him, but I won’t celebrate his demise.  Not like say Nick Riener or child predators.  Interestingly, he was looking over his back for black people ...

Given that Peter David passed away earlier this year, I have been reflecting on some of the things he accomplished.  One thing that I missed during its time was the Peter David and Todd McFarlane debate in the 90s.  It is interesting to examine their stances from that time.  Todd made a lot of money, but Peter was praised for his snarky writing.   One thing that stood out was when Todd realized that Peter destroyed him with his own words and attitude.  He knew Peter used his “5-dollar” words to nuke him.   The 90s were such a simpler time, with people truly speaking their minds and having options to write and draw where they wanted to.  Things are far more divided and mean.  This debate from back in the day showed that people disagree and have fun.  Remember when people could have discourse and talk about it openly?
