I hated Spelling Bees

I hated Spelling Bees
This sums up my experiences in school. I remember being in a class spelling bee and being none too pleased about being up front in the class. Nn the first word I was asked to spell, I purposely misspelled the word wrong. I happily sat back down in my sit first.
I was never that super-nerd. I was more of that depressed geek that slept through most of school, because he hated the social structure of school.

Psych mentions Shaq-Fu

Psych mentions Shaq-Fu
I was flipping through the channels and came across a reference to the excellently bad game Shaq-Fu on the show Psych.
Here's the quote, ((Shawn: I’ve been through all seven levels of Shaq-fu on Nintendo, and Gus can attest to that.))
Given how “inside” that reference is, I have to give the writers major points for that. I'm not even sure Shaq is still aware he has a fighting videogame.
I've watched Psych a few times and loved all their pop culture references. However, the Shaq-Fu one is just great, given how much I like reading about the game.

Chris Brown and Rihanna Tweeting their love...

Chris Brown and Rihanna Tweeting their love...
When it involves Twitter, you know something bad is coming out of it.
From E-Online, ((The Twitter mystery (brought to our attention by Nicky Geezy from Power 106) started when Breezy posted, "Love U more than u know!" Two minutes later, Ri-Ri responded with, "I'll always love you #1love."))
If you remember, back in 2009, Chris Brown beat the living crap out of Rihanna. He beat her so bad that it was hard to tell it was her. The swelling and bruising made me really hate Chris Brown. Brown is an awful human being for doing what he did to her.
It is also the actions of Chris Brown after the incident that has me troubled. Brown gets extremely angry and violent whenever someone mentions the attack. Plus, he behaves as if it never happened.
Now, we have these two sending love tweets to each other, with Rihanna following Chris Brown on Twitter.
This sends the wrong message to her young female fans. If someone beats the living hell out of you, you should leave them and call the police. You should cut them off and not send them “loving” tweets. It is not okay to beat someone you claim to love like that. The police report even mentioned that he bite her a couple a times during the assault. Does this sound like a sane man?
It will be disastrous if she returns to his arms after the ringer he put her through.
Unless there is treatment involved, the abuser will do it again.

Katy Perry and Russel Brand getting divorced: It really is the beginning of the end...or the end of the beginning...

Katy Perry and Russel Brand getting divorced
From Reuters, ((British comedian and actor Russell Brand called it quits on his 14-month marriage to "Teenage Dream" singer Katy Perry on Friday, filing for divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences. ))
What is this? Is this the year of divorces? I'm a little jealous because I can't cash in my divorce card.
I guess Russel Brand and Zooey Deschanel can now offiacally hook up.
I never thought these two would last anyway, because they seemed so different from each other. Earlier this year, I didn't know much about Perry. However, I do find her very attractive because of her big eyes and curves.
And, after looking at the picture below, wouldn't you at least try to keep the marriage working?

Cross didn't like making Chipmunks III

While watching the very funny video review of Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, I did some digging and discovered that David Cross didn't like making the third film in the Chipmunk saga. In the Pop Watch story, Cross called it an unpleasant experience. Well, he wasn't the only one, because RT has it at 13% with the Box Office being lower than the last two.
From Pop Watch, (( “the most unpleasant experience I’ve ever had in my professional life.”, ))
I like David Cross, but why is he now distancing himself from the Chipmunk franchise? It looks like now that his contract is up, he's okay with bashing some elements of the movie. From Indie Wire.com, (( "I’m contractually done," he said during press rounds for his television show "The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret." "I was contractually obligated to do three, which is kinda standard." But now his outlook on the work is considerably less positive. ))
But, I'll give him credit for being open about his time shooting the movie. I like him as a comedic actor is totally brilliant in Arrested Development. Now that he's done with the Chipmunk movies, hopefully he doesn't take the Nic (not the bees!!!) Cage path of taking roles.

Ocean Marketing: How do you ruin a reputation?

Ocean Marketing
How do you ruin a reputation?  You do it by attacking your clients’ user base.
N-Control has a product coming out called the Avenger Controller.  The Avenger is an adapter that goes over your buttons and speeds up your response time in gaming. The Avenger actually is getting some good reviews overall...then Ocean Marketing hit the fan.
A customer sent E-mail to Ocean Marketing asking about the Avenger controller delivery date.    The response he got back from OM was less than professional. After a few replies, things started to get unprofessional fast.
From the Penny Arcade (They have all the e-mails)
((Things happen in manufacturing if your unhappy you have 7 days from the day your item ships for a refund. You placed a pre order just like any software title the gets a date moved due to the tweaks and bugs not being worked out and GameStop or any other place holds your cash and im sure you don’t complain to activision or epic games so put on your big boy hat and wait it out like everyone else. The benefit is a token of our appreaciation for everyone no one is special including you or any first time buyer .))
Yeah, that is a little snappy isn’t it?  Things went downhill from there, with Ocean Marketing guy bragging about knowing the editors some videogame sites.
((LOL Thanks for the Free PR I know the Editor N Chief of Kotaku , IGN , Engadget I’ll be meeting them at CES.The noise complaint was for people high up on the food chain in a corporate world of real estate you have no clue about. Thanks for the Rice Rocket Compliment too love me some motorcycle . Send that over to Engadget you look like a complete moron swearing and sending your customer service complaints to a magazine as if they will post it or even pay attention do you think you’re the first or the last what are they going to do demand us to tell you were your shipment is or ask for a refund on your behalf … Really … Welcome to the Internet ? Son Im 38 I wwebsite as on the internet when you were a sperm in your daddys balls and before it was the internet, thanks for the welcome to message wurd up. Grow up you look like a complete child bro. I Don’t have my controller so im gonna cry to the world … Really ?? Hey take that free time and do something more productive. All you had to do was check the like everyone else , people have inquired but you’re the douchiest of them all J))
Please take note of the “wwebsite as on the Internet”, because this thing went viral and turned into meme.  So much so, that even Geico made fun of it!  From Geico’s twitter, ((Great savings, outstanding service, and a proven 75-year track record. And we will never wwebsite as on the Internet.))
You have to feel bad when a damn insurance company makes fun of you.
The best part about the story is that Ocean Marketing changed their name to Ocean Strategy (on Twitter) after the Internet fallout. It reminds me of the name changing game that security companies do when they take a lot of heat. If you keep the Ocean part of your name, people are still going to remember that you are a D-bag.
So, who is hated more Rick Strong Perry or Paul Christoforo?
Trust me, there is more to the story, which I haven't even dug into yet.

Worst Comedians of all times?

 Worst Comedians of all times?
Complex.com, a pretty good site I might add, did a list of the worst comedians of our lifetime. Some of the folks on the list I completely agree with. Here are a few I wanted to comment on.
 14. Andrew Dice Clay:  I would have rated him higher on the list.  He might have worked during the 80s and 90s, but now it come across as an earlier version of the Cable Guy act.  Do you remember when he had that awful reality show that got cancelled?
13.  Margaret Cho:  MC mentioned that she seems to keep bringing up her horrible time on her sitcom show All American Girl and hasn’t let it go.  She has slowly moved away from being funny to being downright annoying.
12. Sinbad:  Well, he just disappeared from everything.  At one point, he was hot.  He had specials and movies everywhere.  Plus, he wore those strange and ugly pants.  What was up with that?  He even had a talk show.  I’ve seen someone disappear as fast as he did.
10.  Larry the Cable Guy:  You already know I hate this Mf’er.  I also hate that Cars 2 was centered on his character.  Words can’t express how much I hate this guy and his fan base.  Get’er shut up.
6.  Carlos Mencia:  Sure, he’s lost a lot weight, but he still sucks.  There was a time when he was red-hot too.  Remember, he had that TV show too.
3. Kathy Griffin:  While I should hate her because of her many facelifts, I still like the fact she pisses off people on the left and right.  She pisses off reality stars and rich people alike.  This is the reason I like her.  She’s a better version of Joan Rivers.
Damn you, Sinbad, with your loud shirts and strange pants.

Batman Returns

Batman Returns

Ah, this is Tim Burton’s art movie with Batman having a cameo in it.  It is so dark and dreary without a strong plot.  Burton has always been weak on plot.  He is style over substance.
Why does Catwoman have cat powers?  She was just a normal cat burglar in the comics and the cartoon show.
I just wished Burton would have left out Batman altogether and made his freaky little gothic movie, but this isn’t a Batman movie.  Batman Forever is more of a Batman movie than this dreary piece of film.

To be fair, Elfman’s score for “Returns” is very good.

Blogging Love

Blogging Love
I was checking my stats via Blogger and noticed I was getting a lot of hits from Reddit. It was my post about the two Vivian actors from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. The page has gotten around 2,432 pageviews. Within the Fresh Prince reunion photo comment section, someone left a link to my story. That's pretty cool.
The second blogging love I received was through Cracked.com. I got a link shout out on their Worst Action Figures From Iconic Toy Lines post. It was the William The Refrigerator Perry post I wrote earlier this year. I was really thrilled with the little shoutout from Cracked, because I really like that site.
And, since we're wrapping up (warp?) another, I like to think to thank everyone for reading my blog. I hope to have more entertaining content next year.

Sinead O'Connor Divorces husband after 16 days

Sinead O'Connor Divorces husband after 16 days
From Reuters, (( Irish singer Sinead O'Connor has ended her fourth marriage after just 16 days, blaming pressure and disapproval from the family and friends of her new husband Barry Herridge. ))
Talk about a fast marriage, even Kim Kardashian's marriage lasted longer than this one.
If you will remember, O'Connor put out an online appeal for sex, because she was very horny. Barry answered the call and took one for the team. I guess that was enough for them to get married.
From Reuters, ((She added that she had decided to end the marriage, and said the couple had made a mistake "rushing into getting married" without being prepared for the consequences on his life. ))
Did I mention that this will be O'Connor's fourth marriage? Something tells me you probably should quit while you're still ahead.
Yes, there is something wrong with his head.  It looks like an alien from the first season of Star Trek.  I mean that head is huge.  I want to know the story behind that dome.
However, Sinead actually looks better and healthier here than in some of those pictures before her marriage.

Philips CD-I Infomercial

Philips CD-I Infomercial
Holy, crap this is both bad and good.  I never came across this infomercial back in the 90s, but I would have loved it.  The games look really horrible, but I can see what they were going for.
I love how the commercial keeps using the word (Interactive).
Looking at the Wiki page, Sony even developed CD-IS called Green Book.  It was a CD format used on the CDs in the CD-I.
Plus, Philips had the rights to Nintendo characters after they attempted to develop a CD add-on to the SNES called the SNES-CD. The games were leftover rights from that scrapped deal between Philips and Nintendo.  Sony’s Playstation would also emerge out of this twisted history too.
The Biggest problem with the CD-I was the price tag.  It went for 700 at launch.  Plus, the Sega CD add-on sold better than the CD-I.  And, that’s saying a lot.  I vaguely remember reading about this game system back in the day.

8 Heads in a Duffel Bag

8 Heads in a Duffel Bag
What in the hell were they thinking?
I re-watched this stupid movie again on HBO for no reason other than I was bored. I would like to see the pitch-meeting. “You see there is this mob guy that loses a duffel bag full of heads, and it turns out to be funny.”
Plus, it is kind of sad seeing David Spade trying to save every scene with riffing. It just comes across as needing.
~I guess I was supposed to laugh when Joe Pesci threw a old woman over a cliff. I didn't laugh.
~Wouldn't the heads start to really go bad at this point?
~The only funny thing about the movie is the creepy scene where the heads from the bag begin to sing a version of “Sandman”.
Yes, it makes no since with the rest of the film, but it is just strange.
~The movie only earned 4 million.
~A few years after this, Pesci started a rap/singing career and retired from acting. I'm not making this up.
Like Pesci's singing, avoid this movie.

Where are the parents?

Where are the parents?
While I was standing in line to buy a ticket for Mission Impossible 4 at my local theater, I witnessed a strange incident.
There were two little girls about 7 to 9 years old standing in front of the ticket window.  They both had these confused expressions on their faces.  Keep in mind this is Christmas Eve at 8:55 at night, and I saw no parent in sight.
“My I help who is next?” the ticket lady said through the speaker.
The two little girls stepped up with money in hand.  “Can we get two tickets for Young Adult?”
“Uh, do you have a parent around, that movie is Rated-R?” the ticket lady asked.
They didn’t answer and stood back away from the window.  Where exactly where they’re parents and why were they trying to get into a R-Rated movie?  This is a late Saturday on Christmas Eve, no place for little kids.
I just found it odd.
I looked up Young AdultYoung Adult is written by Diablo Cody, and ex-stripper. And, where's what the parent guide had to say about movie's content. ((No actual nudity, actors are covered or wearing underwear. Graphic discussion of male sex organ. Adult promiscuity and discussion of high school sexual activity with numerous partners. Hint of masturbation in opening scene. ))
I am not a prude, but I think parent should at least be there to watch the R-rated movie with their kids.  Heck, I used to watch a lot of R-rated movies when I was a kid.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol
MI4 is a very entertaining follow up to the third film and fits in nicely with that film.   With complex action set pieces, the film moves along at a break-neck speed.  MI4 is a sharp action movie that I enjoyed immensely.  It has a lot of energy and humor.
Brad Bird stepped up to the plate, as this is his first live action film.  Bird came from the animation field, but really showed that he has the potential to be a great action director.  Because this is his first live film, his distinct style isn’t really present.  His movie style clearly is set in the same technique as producer J.J. Abrams’ stuff.  I don’t have a problem with that either, because Abrams is a good director to follow.
Bird does a good job keeping the camera still and showing us the action.  Many seasoned directors could learn a thing or two from him.  He keeps things moving without that many dull scenes.
Tom Cruise is pretty much the same character as he was in the last three movies.  However, like third film, Cruise takes a side seat to the rest of the IMF team.  I always felt the remake MI series should always be a team effort just like the old TV series.   I think it was good for Cruise to let the other characters in the movie get some good screen time, unlike the first two movies.
While I’ve never been a fan of Cruise the person, he handles himself extremely well.  The man runs like there’s no tomorrow.  There is a certain scene at the very end that he acted pretty well in, which I won’t spoil.
Speaking of the rest of the IMF team, Simon Pegg is having a lot of fun playing the gadget man, and it reminds me of his role as Scotty.  This time around, he gets to play out in the field.  So, they expanded his role.
Did I mention how much I found Paula Patton to be extremely sexy?  She is one butt-kicking female agent that is very convincing in that role.  She has a great moment seducing a media mogul from India that is very funny.
Jeremy Renner is clearly set up as a potential replacement for Ethan Hunt.
One of the best set pieces has to be the entire Dubai section of the film.  Not only does Ethan climb a skyscraper, but he also chases a guy through a sandstorm on foot and in a car.
There are layers upon layers of problems for the team to deal with.  And, that was my favorite part about the movie.
The other aspect I really dug about the movie is the way it handles the continuity within the franchise.  There are unaccredited cameos from other established characters from the franchise that I had no idea were going to show up.  I also like that they at least talked about a certain issue that Ethan had at the end of the last movie involving a certain person.  And, they handled it in a touching manner.
Michael Giacchino has returned to compose the film music, and his music is much better than his first installment (part III).  He uses a few themes from part III, but most of the music is fresh for the new movie.  It is fast paced and bombastic, but quiet in some parts.  I also like Giacchino’s new version of IM theme, which is different than the one used in the third.  I loved this score a lot.
I only have two issues with the movie.  One, the villains are a little weaker in this story than the other films.  The motives are bit weaker and they don’t have the presence the other villains in the series had.  Two, I wanted more from the Russian secret police chasing after Ethan.  There needed to be more for them to do in the story.
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol is a very good action movie with a lot of great scenes going for it.  With its lighter tone, the movie doesn’t seem like a burden with its over 2 hour running time.  Tom Cruise isn’t annoying and places his ego aside to let the other actors shine in the movie.  Despite a few minor flaws, it is a very good follow-up to the third movie.
Grade:  B+

The Dark Knight Soundtrack OST- 8 Like A Dog Chasing Cars

The Dark Knight Soundtrack OST- 8 Like A Dog Chasing Cars
This track is probably my favorite track from the Dark Knight soundtrack.  I like it because of the “hero” theme played proudly at the 2:11 mark.  It is probably one of Zimmer’s themes of recent years.
I also like the “Joker” theme added at the end of the track.

Knock down folks for a pair of Air Jordans? Enjoy the Holidays.

Knock down folks for a pair of Air Jordans? Enjoy the Holidays.
For a $200 pair of shoes named after Michael Jordan, was it really worth it?  I’m glad to see the Christmas Spirit (Holiday Spirit, take that) is alive and well as the people at the door step on the people on the floor.
As I kid and a teenager, I never bothered with buy the expensive Nike shoes, because I didn’t see the point.  I thought it was scam to trick kids into buying a pair of shoes over 200 bucks, yet these same kids barely have enough to buy a lunch at school.
In a day and age where we have devices that can do a hundred things out of the box, why are people getting this excited about a pair of shoes?
Basically, Nike has been hyping this retro Air Concords up for a while.  They’re the same design as the ones from 1995.  I liked the actual brand of Michael Jordan, minus Space Jam, but I just never got around to his shoes.
Maybe, I am too old for this shit.
Does it play your MP3s or walk the dog?
And, Merry Holiday

Prometheus Trailer

 Prometheus Trailer
I guess I am having a geek moment, because the trailer looks amazing.  This is a Ridley Scott joint with write Damon Lindelof.  The trailer looks amazing, if a little short.  But, I love the fact it only hints at what the story is about, thus giving us a guessing game as to the story elements.
This movie actually started out as a direct prequel to Alien, but Scott changed his mind. The wiki page states that this story will play within the universe of Alien, but will be standalone. I'm not sure I buy that because the “Space Jockey” from the first movie clearly makes an appearance.
From Wiki, ((The film will focus on a mythology within the Alien universe. Set in the late-21st century, Prometheus will explore the advanced civilization of anextraterrestrial race responsible for the origins of modern humans on Earth,[3] as well as the background of the Alien creature which made its first appearance in the 1979 film ))
I'm thinking there will be more of a connection to the first movie than Scott is letting people believe.
Anyone that knows me are fully aware how much I love Alien. I think of that first film as an art-house horror movie. It is wonderfully crafted with a great soft ending that suits it well. To top it off, Jerry Goldsmith's score is suits the film, (I still think they should have used some of Goldsmith's rejected cues and tracks in the director's cut).
~The transport units certainly have style as the units in Aliens and Alien.
~I freaking love the design of the spacesuits.  Clearly a nod to Alien.
~The ship has that worn feel as the Alien movie had.
~The slow appearance of the title letters is clearly a tribute to the Alien movie from 79.  Plus, the sonar (screaming) sound effect is clearly homage to Alien trailer.

Mr. Plinkett's next review trailer...IJ4 Coming soon

Mr. Plinkett's next review trailer...IJ4 Coming soon
Explain why I really like this trailer?
I will never look at Follow That Bird the same way again. I want to know who that girl is in the video though.
Anyway, I think I am going to love Red Letter Media ripping into Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I let IJ4 off the hook with my review and I would probably review the movie more harshly now. There are way too many George Lucas flaws in the script to give it pass today, because clearly the movie doesn't hold up like the last three movies.
I remember Lucas coming out and warning people that the movie wouldn't be as good as the last movies.

Michael Jackson: Stranger in Moscow/Sonic 3

Michael Jackson: Stranger in Moscow/Sonic 3
This is probably the best remix of the two songs I've heard. If you will remember the Sonic End Title song is almost a complete match to MJ's song Stranger in Moscow. There have been many remixes/mashups between the two songs, but I think DJ Yuzoboy pulled off the best version of the song.
From Wiki, ((James Hansen, of Sonic Stuff Research Group, retorts that Cirocco (credited as "Scirocco" in Sonic 3) still has possession of presumably a demo version of fabled soundtrack. "I actually have "ALL" of the tracks...," he writes, "from the original humming of Michael calling in the middle of the night leaving messages, to his ideas at Record One with Matt and Bruce. - BUT, I don't think I can let any of that out to the public without permission ))
Someday, I hope those demo tapes of MJ singing the tunes from the Sonic 3 will be released to the public. But given the control the Jackson family has on MJ's image, I don't think that will happen.

Busy again

Because I am doing nothing but double shifting, the blog has seen less play at this time.  That is because I am getting around 3-4 hours a sleep each day.

But I should be back in swing this weekend.

Kim Jong-il: Dead at 69 or 70

Kim Jong-il:  Dead at 69 or 70
He died on an Mfing train...not a boat.
From Reuters, ((North Korea's official KCNA news agency said the elder Kim died at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday (6:30 p.m. EST on Friday) after "an advanced acute myocardial infarction, complicated with a serious heart shock." Kim had suffered a stroke in 2008, but had appeared to have recovered from that ailment. ))
Kim Jong was a strange fellow that I was fascinated with because of the Cult of Personality surrounding his rule.  He was the son of the Great Leader, his father, yet had this strange mystery about him.  There are many stories about him and even his birth date might be conflicting with what is recorded.
He was a stanch supporter of Communism, yet had no problem collecting capitalism products such as expensive cars and American movies.  His entire country is under total lockdown, yet he receives outside material things.
For me, it is interesting to see his fascination with Hollywood and Japanese movies and pop culture, which he restricted his people from watching.
He was so into Godzilla movies that he decided to make his own movie.
From Wiki, ((Kim was said to be a huge film fan, owning a collection of more than 20,000 video tapes and DVDs.[125] His reported favorite movie franchises included Friday the 13thRamboGodzilla, and Hong Kong action cinema,[126] and any movie starring Elizabeth Taylor.[127] He was the author of the book On the Art of the Cinema. In 1978, on Kim's orders, South Korean film director Shin Sang-ok and his actress wife Choi Eun-hee were kidnapped in order to build a North Korean film industry.[128] In 2006 he was involved in the production of the Juche-based movie Diary of a Girl Student – depicting the life of a girl whose parents are scientists – with a KCNA news report stating that Kim "improved its script and guided its production" ))
I already covered Kim's “movie” in a post years ago on my blog. But, he did kidnap a director and forced him to make a rip-off Godzilla movie called Pulgasari. He also wanted Shin Sang to help build the North Korean film industry. Pulgasari was a monster that ate metal and fought in the upraising of the poor people against a tyrant. (I am not making this up just watch the movie on You Tube)
Plus, everyone remembers the rather amusing depiction of Kim (Lil Kim as Bill Maher calls him) in the movie Team America.
Side Note: The Creators of South Park and Team America seem to slip in Star Trek References in all their movies. Kim Jong II seems to have a bug-like alien that leaves his mouth once he dies, just like Star Trek II and Star Trek TNG's episode “Conspiracy”.
While I doubt there will be major change in the North, I can hope for some change within the country.

Random Things

Random Things
~Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters: Yes, this show actually existed. It took its title in spirit to Teenage Mutant Turtles and Power Rangers. It makes Power Rangers look amazing compared to this show. My biggest problem with the show is that DiC Entertainment produced the show. This was the same company that ran the GI Franchise into the ground. The show only lasted one season with 40 episodes running 30 minutes each. I remember watching this show years ago.

~Damn you Eiffel 65...: At work, someone starting singing “Move Your Body” and subconsciously I started to sing the song too without realizing why it popped in my head. I realized it was because he was singing the song and I simply got caught up into this Eiffel groove. I'm just glad he didn't sing “I DJ with the fire.” Just remember to move your body, everybody-everybody.
~Britney Spears is engaged...again: I would think someone would have talked her out of marrying again. Granted, no one can be the biggest d-bag as K-Fed (K-Feed), but there is a huge chance this marriage will not last that long. As long as she doesn't shave her head and go crazy in front of her children, she will probably be okay.
~Christian Bale roughed up by Chinese police. Was this an outtake from the Dark Knight? I have to give Bale credit for not taking the “bull baiting” by the cops. They wanted him to fight back so they could arrest him, but Bale didn't take the bait. Bale has been known for his anger and outbursts, but he didn't do it in this incident. It is good to see him stand for something he believes in.

Wow, The Joker watches Lost
That was clearly the writers of Batman Arkham City enjoy taking a jab at the ending of Lost.

Star Trek as the A-Team

Star Trek as the A-Team
Brilliant, that is all.

Space Jam Website (since 96/97?) (Can it still fly?)

 Space Jam Website (since 96/97?)
Did you know that the old Space Jam movie website is still up and running?  While poking around Cracked.com, I came across a mention of the damn SJ site still running as if the 90s are still around.  And, this story passed me by, and everyone in the blog sphere has already talked about it.  But, I wanted to add my two cents to it.
Back in the day, most promotional sites looked exactly like this. It is a little piece of 90s fluff for us to marvel and make fun of.
For a 90’s website, it is pretty extensive with the various.  The Behind Jam notes are an interesting read.  They mention Disney and Who Framed Roger Rabbit in their story.  I find this interesting given the fact Disney and WB were and are long time rivals.
A lot of work went into the site to a sup-par movie, but today it just looks so cute and tiny. I guess someone at WB just said, “screw it”, even after the DVD was released for this movie.
Notes
~If you click on the Warner Brothers store link, it actually links to an up to date WB site. So someone as at least worked on the site since 96-97.
~I love the press junket page where it says, (No Spacejam news at the moment! Go back to the Space Jam home page to see more of the site! )
Yeah, I will probably be waiting a long time to see something pop up.

Patrick Ewing has really hit a wall lately
 _________________________________________________________________________

Bill Murray:  “Look, this is a bad movie, but I actually will be in something far worst movie called Garfield.”
Michael Jordan:  “How do you know this, Bill?”
Bill Murray:  “A crazy old man in a flying time machine took me to the future.  And, Michael, we need to talk about your marriage.”

Michael:  “There’s nothing wrong with my marriage.”
Bill:  “For now…”
