True Blood starts out with a bang (so to speak) (Bad Blood)

Wow, they really crammed a lot into the season 3 opener. I’ve said time and time again that this is the way to adapt a vampire book series. I always felt True Blood was adult answer to the Twilight franchise. Sookie Stackhouse is more of an active character than Bella any day. She actually stands up to Vampires.

~Biker Gang Werewolves: I enjoyed watching these guys yell and act like crazy bikers after kidnapping Bill.

~Eric can have sex for six hours straight?: I guess some vampires have that ability to have sex with a stripper up that long.

~Even Vampire Queens are afraid of the IRS!: The whole the Vampire Queen is in the “V” trade is because she’s broke and the IRS is after her. That’s brilliant and I laughed when she said that.

~Suicide anyone: Tara tries to kill herself. The writers did their research and got that right. Many people just before committing suicide have this strange enlightened attitude.

~Kissing Female friends: Do female friends really have no problem turning into lesbians when asked to? You will never see me kiss my best dude friend…never.

~Did Bill have sex with Sam?: Nope, it was one of those vampire dreams.

~Someone is pregnant.

I haven't gotten around to it yet, but I need to pick up her books this year. I've heard nothing but good things about them even from rival "Twilight" fans.

  I don't like this movie, but this character and all his scenes are freaking funny.  He sums up The Rock between 2005 and 2020.  Dewayne Johnson helped make the FF franchise better, but you have to make fun of him, too.  He comes in as if he's in another movie.   I love the baby oil on the arms joke.  It gets even creepier now due to P Diddy loving baby oil.   This guy is named  Dio Johnson !  He has the same last name as Dwayne Johnson, the person he is making fun of.  And, his character name in this movie is Detective Johnson.  Triple meta.   I checked, and Dio and Dwayne are not related.  They just look similar.

She's so damn cute and tiny that you would likely see her working in the mall instead of doing hardcore porn. One crazy car chase...

  So, this chase involves a cat, two methheads, a college student, a ride-along, and carjacking.  This is freaking nuts.  They live in their car, their home, and proceed to destroy it in the chase.  It looks like the driver has been in numerous car chases, the way he blocks and boxes out the cops to stop the pit maneuvers.    Later in the chase, they both start throwing shit out the window and then begin to smoke meth during the chase.  Priorities, right?  The couple of cops get spiked, and they end up in a different jurisdiction.  The chase is called off, but the couple then carjacks a Karen, and the chase is on again.   By the way, this video has over 4 million views.
