Transformers War for Cybertron (I like the look and feel of it)

G-News has a great post comparing the new videogame to Michael Bay's movies, and you really should check it out. The Samurai Frog posted a great post about the videogame ad featuring Stan Bush's “the Touch”. Any advertising group that understands the use of Stan Bush is alright in my book.

It looks like the design of the characters are a mixture of the TF cartoon series (80s) designs, Japanese series, and the live action films. I'm not sure what continuity this story is set in.

Some of the voice talent listed

Peter Cullen returns as Optimus Prime: This is probably the best choice ever. I can’t see anyone else playing Prime.

Diedrich Bader as Ironhide: Back in the old 80s series, Cullen also did the voice of Ironhide too. He gave him a southern accent. I’m not sure why they replaced him with a new voice actor.

Corey Burton returns as the voice of Shockwave: Looking at his IMDB, he also reprised the role of Shockwave for "Transformers: Animated". He was also the voice of Spike on the show too.

Susan Eisenberg replaces Susan Blu as the voice of Arcee: This seems strange to me because Susan Blu played the role up to 2009 with the latest animated series. Why not have her in the game? Could it be that Blu is still mourning the loss of her lover?

They just better have the Stan Bush song in the game somewhere.
