Super Mario Brothers meet Milli Vanilli

Comment: You know a show has 'jumped the shark' when they include a special musical guest. But when your guest is Milli Vanilli, it goes beyond jumping the shark (jumping the King Koopa?). For some reason, the creators of this cartoon show thought it would be 'hip' to include everyone's favorite lip syncing group.

What does Milli Vanilli have to do with Super Mario Brothers? Nothing, but that didn't stop them from devoting an entire episode to them.

Was anyone here old enough to have seen the TV show called "Club Mario" with a host who looked like a wanna-be Captain Lou Albino?

They had a live host and cool theme song then they would jump to cartoons of Super Mario Bros. or Zelda.

I loved that show. I even remember the theme song.

oh yeah i remember that episode. it sucked even back then. ironically the lip singing scandal started right after that episode aired. lol

You have a good memory.
Lou Albano did the live action stuff at the beginning and ending of the cartoon show, playing Mario. He also did the voice of Mario in the show.

Later on, the show changed to Club Mario with two young surfers hosting the show. (I never saw the connection between surfers and the mario brothers.)

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I recently watched Lower Decks on Net-flicks and found myself amazed with the performance from the young and lovely Shannon Fill , who played the character Ensign Sito Jaxa. I’ve written about some messed up things in my time as a blogger, but this story might just top the cake.  And, I mean really.  If you are offended by porn and the porn industry, don’t read this blog.  However, this might be one of the strangest and creepiest things I’ve seen and read about.  It just seems so wrong... Kouri Richins | Are you with me ?

  Kouri Richins was just found guilty.  She was the one who was looking for “That Michael Jackson shit.” This woman wrote a children’s book about her husband’s death.  This was after she gave him a drink full of Fentanyl.  There was so much in the drink that it would kill him a hundred times over. I just love that she was so sure she got away with it that she “wrote” a book to capitalize on it.   By the way, she did not write the book.  It was ghostwritten.  This was a grief book to “teach” kids about loss.  What a POS.  The name of the book is Are You With Me?   Yes, he was with you when his wife was found guilty.  Not sure if she will write a sequel.  She is Not With Us.   By the way, the channel changed the name of the interview video after her guilty verdict.
