Runaway Bride wants money for doing nothing…

Well, we knew this was going to happen sooner or later. Somehow, in this country, people who have no reason to be famous are famous and get paid for it. They get huge book deals, and they get interviewed over writers, world leaders, and experts.
The only thing Jennifer Wilbanks did for the world was show how the media loves the Missing white woman syndrome. She may have been crazy, but she knew how to piss people off and get people going. Here’s how you do it…
1 Instead of calling off the stupid wedding early on, runaway: That’s right, forget about family and friends, and just disappear. Getting married is a big step and should thought out before jumping in, but running away is just fine.
2 Blame it on a minority: If there’s one thing FOX News and CNN love better than the Missing White Woman Syndrome, it’s blaming a minority for the crime, be it black or Hispanic. Never mind that there was never a kidnapper.
3 Sue your ex-fiancé for 250,000 of the 500, 000 dollar book deal: 500, 000 for this crappy story? What has happened to this world?

She's just pursuing the American dream Semaj! Little girls dreams of growing up, getting engaged, changing mind, fleeing the State, garnering national news coverage, coming home, being stunned, getting legal slap on the wrist, suing ex-fiance for half the book deal to follow. Who can fault her for that?
And she did it within a year!
