The Extended ending to Star Trek Nemesis

Someone edited the deleted scenes back into the movie’s ending. It’s done extremely well. The most notable scene is the one with Worf and La Forge packing all of Data’s things away, and we see Spot become Worf’s pet. It’s a touching scene that reminds me of the episode Most Toys. It’s something family members have to do when they lose a loved one. (What did Geordi pick up and smile about on Data’s desk? His emotion chip?)
The other scene worth discussing is Dr. Crusher’s send off, with her conversation with Picard in his ready room. All her scenes were deleted from the movie (Note: actually most of her scenes from the entire TNG movie series have been deleted.) Someone in Paramount doesn’t like Gates McFadden, because not only did she get fired after the first season of TNG, but nearly all of her scenes in The Hunt for the Red October were cut as well. (She was rehired after the second season).
The theatrical ending felt rushed and didn’t service the characters. That’s sad since it was going to be their last outing. I’m not sure who was responsible for the cuts, Stuart Baird, Berman, or the studio, but it was a bad decision. We needed to see Picard talking to his crew, showing them that life goes on, but we didn’t get that ending.
Also, listen for Jerry Goldsmith to come full circle with his ‘The Enterprise’ theme during the shot of the Enterprise resting in dry-dock. This is a call back to Goldsmith’s best score to the misunderstood Star Trek The Motion Picture. It was a nice touch, and it showed the care and love Goldsmith had for the franchise. Goldsmith will be missed. (It should be noted that this The Enterprise Reprise is not on the soundtrack).
Even though I hated most of the cuts made to the movie, the Wesley Crusher deletion was a wise move.

I'm sorry Semaj, but Nemesis really blew for me... I found the plot contrived, and I really think that Picard and Co. could've ended on a way way better note.
That being said, thanks for showing the extra scenes.
Lol, looks like Wesley will never shake off the fans' hatred. :)
Yeah, there were a lot of problems with NEM, from preproduction to marketing. It seemed no one cared about about making the film.
However, I felt that someone got nervous and started to remove a lot of the character moments out of the film, and what we got was a dark action movie instead of the a send off for TNG.
You're right TNG deserved better.
