Hollywood car number 3 General Lee




Coming in at Number 3 is the Dukes of Hazzard car, the General Lee. Despite the Rebel flag, I always loved this car as kid. The bright orange paint made the car stand out from the rest. I also liked how the car could magically jump anything without a ramp. There’s no logic to it, but then again the show was about rednecks and moonshine.

Looper, I actually like you, but your identity politics is showing.

Looper, I actually like you, but your identity politics is showing.    The battle between storytelling and representation  rears its ugly head again with this Looper video.  I started noticing that many of the examples on the involved gay or female characters.  It seem s  the writer has a n  agenda with this list.  Most of these deaths had impacts on not only the overall arc of the show   but the characters within their universe.  Reg a rdless  of  their impact on social justice or  representation , if it feels organic to kill off a character, then it should be done.   I am all for  representation , but the shows sometimes need to kill off characters to push the narrative forward.     I think the Buffy death was important because it pushed another character in a different direction.   As far as the death of  Zoe Barnes in House of Cards, it shows that Frank Unde...

Mr Brain's...meatballs. About that name

  I always thought the F-word meant a cigarette in the UK.  And there are links to the word, which is connected to the old term "a bundle of sticks".  I never knew it also meant a British-style meatball.  I did a "wait, what?" It's a real name for British meatballs .   Given it is 2026, it is a bit jarring to hear with my sensitive ears.  My 1990s ears give me a chuckle.
