I always like this bit in Clerk II. The actor playing the LoTR super fan is Kevin Weisman, and he played Hobbit Lover in the movie. Wiesman was known for the breakout role on the show Alias as the nerdy character Marshall Flinkman. While his character in Clerks hates SW, his Alias character is actually a super fan of both Star Wars and Star Trek. The throwing up bit is a nice touch too.
The “movie is all about walking” joke was taken from Kevin’s own bit on stage when nerds would ask him about the LOTR movies. I think this is how he felt about the series. Smith was a bit more biting in his commentary before smoking weed.
Of course, there is the pillow pants scene.
