Nicole Kidman misses her children...

While I am not a gossip blogger, certain stories do crossover to pop culture status.
Nicole Kidman misses her children: I found it odd that after Tom Cruise divorced Nicole Kidman, her children went to live with Tom Cruise instead of living with their mother. Gee, I wonder why that is?
From the Celebrity Cafe, (("When children are teenagers, they have a say in where they want to be," she explained at the time. When it comes to their upbringing, "Yes, they're being raised as Scientologists," she told the publication. "I don't want to go there." ))
Sadly, whenever someone even brings up the word Scientology to Kidman, she won’t say a word and generally have this strange expression.  I’ve heard stories of the Space Church trying to put out some bad things about her to the press after the divorce. 

How can someone keep their children away from their mother, a mother that hasn’t done anything bad to their children?

From what I gather the Scientology religon had left a very bad taste in her mouth. I give her credit for not talking bad about her ex-husband though.

Yeah, I agree, she gets props for not bashing TC, but I have to wonder if certain people within the church are whispering, "Your mom is a suppressive person."

I feel she really was blindsided by the divorce and the children thing. And, we're probably going to see some more info come out about the divorce.

BTW, it looks like TC current wife supposedly had a public meltdown.

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I’ve written about some messed up things in my time as a blogger, but this story might just top the cake.  And, I mean really.  If you are offended by porn and the porn industry, don’t read this blog.  However, this might be one of the strangest and creepiest things I’ve seen and read about.  It just seems so wrong... Starship Troopers III (Direct to Video/DVD)

Starship Troopers III? I didn’t even know anything about this movie. http://www.slashfilm.com/2008/01/09/first-look-starship-troopers-3/ I enjoy Paul Verhoeven’s work and his style. He loves mixing nudity and violence like no other. Total Recall and Basic Instinct were great movies, and they just show that he has a twisted freaky mind. When Starship Troopers came out in 97, I was more than a little disappointed with the material. However, I’ve come to enjoy it more on repeated viewing. I also liked the subtext of the Military based community that planet has in this version of the future. There was a good amount of social commentary buried in with the violence and sex. Plus, Casper Van Dien is reprising his role. I guess those late Showtime movies haven’t paid the bills. Man, this guy can’t act.
