Uh, this is going to suck big time.
First the poster and now this shit. Who gave this movie the green light? I hope the movie bombs and the executive that thought this was a good idea gets himself fired. Jason Lee, how much money did they pay you to do this movie?

“Yeah, Alvin and The Chipmunks will look wonderful with the rest of my body of work,” Jason Lee says.

Hollywood, if you’re going to make a remake, do a better job than this. Well, at least we know they won't be rappers now...I think

It was in front of The Simpsons Movie, and I went with my mom who loved them as a kid, and when she saw it, she squealed like an excited teenage girl. She's also seeing Underdog because of the reminiscent values. I'm not going with her though...

seriously.
Jason Lee is one of my favorite actors of all time, going way back.
I've even seen him as we both went shopping at IKEA for stuff. The same stuff.
This is going to suck so bad and it's a bummer.

JD: The movie just stinks of Garfield all over again. The more I hear about this the more I'm hating it.

Mayren: Jason Lee is very funny and talented. I really want to know why the hell is he doing this, considering he's making a lot of cash from his TV show.

Man, you really do know a lot of famious people. 1st Elfman and now Lee. If you bump into him again, score me a interview with him.

I'm not usually star-struck since i live in LA now but Lee was a total ditz movie for me. It was all I could do not to stalk him in IKEA like an idiot... i am super lucky i was there with the hubby. So I made it out idiot-free but still a moronic smile on my face. sheesh it was so lame.

What I love the most is the fact that people are somehow surprised that Jason Lee (also the voice of Underdog) could be doing a bad movie. The guy who starred alongside Tom Green in Stealing Harvard making a bad movie? Heaven forfend! How could this happen?

Honestly, the guy gets on one decent TV show, and the world forgets he was in Kissing a Fool, Enemy of the State, Mumford, Heartbreakers, Vanilla Sky, Big Trouble, Stealing Harvard, A Guy Thing, and Dreamcatcher? The world hadn't already learned that Jason Lee's presence does nothing to make a movie watchable? Alvin and the Chipmunks is going to be the one that makes this guy lose his credibility? Naming his kid Pilot Inspektor Lee didn't already do that?

I think Alvin eating shit in the preview pretty much says everything about this movie.

I really like Mr. Lee, but I think even the best actor picks some real stinkers.

(I liked his role in Enemy of the State, although brief)

But there are certainly a some bad ones that you listed. The kid naming thing is a little crazy too, but I still like the guy a great deal.

Yeah, the eating shit thing was a deal breaker. I'm that's the taste the people in the movie are going to get after watching it.
