Target + LOST

Have you seen these Target/Lost Commercials?

While watching the Lost Finale, you might have come across three of these Lost-themed ads by Target. What’s cool about them is that they actually used certain aspects of the show to promote their products. Where as the Burger King/Iron Man 2 ads were annoying, these three Lost-themed ads were fun. They seem to really capture the feel of the show.

Looking around the Web, I discovered that a director from the show (Jack Bender) directed these ads.

My personal favorite is the Smoke Monster one. I laughed out loud when I saw it the first time.

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I recently watched Lower Decks on Net-flicks and found myself amazed with the performance from the young and lovely Shannon Fill , who played the character Ensign Sito Jaxa. Jaxa showed up in two episodes of TNG, actually they were two important episodes.   There was a nice arc to her character too.   Her character was killed off in Lower Decks , but there were plans to bring her back for an episode of DS9. Madison Swan/Mia Malkova: Not so Mother's Day

I’ve written about some messed up things in my time as a blogger, but this story might just top the cake.  And, I mean really.  If you are offended by porn and the porn industry, don’t read this blog.  However, this might be one of the strangest and creepiest things I’ve seen and read about.  It just seems so wrong... A few days ago, I stumbled across an Amateur Allure (porn) video.   AA is a polished porn site that features a lot of POV shots and newcomers in the industry.   Also, there is MILF/step daughter (pretending) porn thing out there and it’s very popular.   Even AA has a few of these “fake” mother/step-daughter teams.   It is a very popular Genre in the industry.   However, this one is different.   AA had a video claiming that a fledging pornstar Madison Swan/Mia Malkova   did a Pre-Audition video with her mother tagging along…her real mother.  Mia/Madison shows up for her “audition”, which means you show ...

RIP, Chuck "f'ing" Norris

  It feels kind of strange that Chuck Norris is gone.  Somehow, this movie has Shatner, Hasselhoff, Bateman, and Chuck Norris. I grew up watching Chuck Norris movies.   I wasn’t into the early kung fu stuff, but more of the shitty action movies.  The Missing in Action series comes to mind.  My favorite from that era was Invasion USA.  Norris single-handedly led an entire foreign invasion.   Norris and I would never see eye to eye politically, but he was part of pop culture's history.  The man was into everything.  Plus, we got the “long in the tooth” Chuck Norris jokes.  I still can’t believe people are still doing them.   In his later years, he was in everything.  He did that Wow of Warcraft commercial and had extended cameos in Dodgeball and The Expendables 2.  He was also in those infomercials that were on constantly at 2-4 AM.  You know the ones.   I can’t list everything here, but he had...
