So long, Ilana.

When the writers of Lost don’t need a character, they really get rid of them with a bam. She’s carrying around that old dynamite and throws it down on the beach and BOOM! She blows herself up real good.

I kind of got the feeling that she was going to die a few episodes later, but not this soon. I think they should have given her character more time to develop. But, they don't have time to develop her given the short amount of episodes left.

Plus, I find Zuleikha Robinson very attractive. So, it is a shame we won't see her again. She was also on the show Rome on HBO...getting naked all the time.

St. Elsewhere meets Cheers

  This is so strange.  Seeing the Cheers set filmed in a realistic approach is a sight to behold.  The Cheers cast members seem meaner and ruder than their sitcom versions.  While both shows share a universe, the Cheers guys are not as funny.  St. Elsewhere is a drama, and Cheers is a comedy.   The Cheers set is fuller in this episode than it is on the actual show.  I loved seeing the TNG crew walking around the DS9 sets with their brighter lighting and music.  Seeing the dramatic lighting and extra...extras is an interesting side look at the Cheers set.   By the way, this crossover happened early in the Cheers series.  They mention Coach, who died later in the series.    The St. Elsewhere cast just stops by the Cheers bar, has their chat, and moves on.  The Cheers crew cameos and moves on.  Elsewhere just passes through.  I had completely forgotten about this crossover.   Did you know Mickey ...

Madison Swan/Mia Malkova: Not so Mother's Day

I’ve written about some messed up things in my time as a blogger, but this story might just top the cake.  And, I mean really.  If you are offended by porn and the porn industry, don’t read this blog.  However, this might be one of the strangest and creepiest things I’ve seen and read about.  It just seems so wrong... A few days ago, I stumbled across an Amateur Allure (porn) video.   AA is a polished porn site that features a lot of POV shots and newcomers in the industry.   Also, there is MILF/step daughter (pretending) porn thing out there and it’s very popular.   Even AA has a few of these “fake” mother/step-daughter teams.   It is a very popular Genre in the industry.   However, this one is different.   AA had a video claiming that a fledging pornstar Madison Swan/Mia Malkova   did a Pre-Audition video with her mother tagging along…her real mother.  Mia/Madison shows up for her “audition”, which means you show ...

Looper, I actually like you, but your identity politics is showing.

Looper, I actually like you, but your identity politics is showing.    The battle between storytelling and representation  rears its ugly head again with this Looper video.  I started noticing that many of the examples on the involved gay or female characters.  It seem s  the writer has a n  agenda with this list.  Most of these deaths had impacts on not only the overall arc of the show   but the characters within their universe.  Reg a rdless  of  their impact on social justice or  representation , if it feels organic to kill off a character, then it should be done.   I am all for  representation , but the shows sometimes need to kill off characters to push the narrative forward.     I think the Buffy death was important because it pushed another character in a different direction.   As far as the death of  Zoe Barnes in House of Cards, it shows that Frank Unde...
