Lauren Cleri...

After all that talk about the special, I've finally seen the famous clip with that woman that admitted that she cheated on her husband and wanted to marry her ex-boyfriend. All I can say is wow. First thing is this: Why did she bring it up on national TV? If she had such strong feelings for the other guy, why did she settle for her Douche bag hubby?

This site gives us some details about her.

Is it okay to ruin your life if money is involved? Come on, Lauren Cleri, a million dollars is simply not worth it, when now everyone views you as a slut and a bad person. (I strangely don't view her that way, but I wouldn't trust her.) I believe there are many unhappy married couples out there that will cheat if they had a chance. Lauren was just the one that was exposed.

Here are some of her Myspace posts: Why does every crazy thing have a Myspace connection?

Yet, the other thing is this; this probably has gone too far, as far as reality shows are concerned. Is this entertainment? I can't answer that, but I certainly wouldn't watch it as a regular show. I don’t believe TV should be uplifting or anything, but this show is almost as bad as Flavor of Love or The Simple Life. So, it does cheapen TV to even a lower level.

Why did she do it?

And here are a few more questions she's answered about her life.

Next time, don't marry the hot girl only for her looks. And, Make her take a lie detector test before even dating her.

See, here is the thing about that show that is before you go on television, the producers ask the contestant about 50 questions... and the questions on the air are drawn from those... and as a contestant, one would think that they would be able to figure out which of those same questions they would be asked on camera.

So, the decision to choose which questions and direction to go. She didn't seem to know they were going to go in that direction.

So, is the show going get canceled?

It is getting around 15 million viewers per episode. I don't think it is going anywhere.

The relevant fine print for the show:

"On THE MOMENT OF TRUTH, the challenge is simple -- answer 21 increasingly personal questions honestly, as determined by a polygraph, and win up to $500,000. This is the only game show where participants know both the questions and the answers before they begin to play. Prior to playing, participants are strapped to a lie detector and asked a series of questions by a polygraph expert, who records their answers. At any time, between the polygraph and the televised game, participants can change their answers or walk away from the competition."
