Music for the mind

I listen to a lot of music while I write stuff, and one of the best places to listen to good music is at LIVE365.com. I usually listen to a select few stations, but here are a few channels to try out…

ffhybrid.net: I like this one, because it has some nice mixtures of tracks from various Square videogames.

Streaming Soundtracks: This one is always in my top 3, and it’s actually number one. It has the biggest soundtrack data bases you’ve ever seen…er, heard.

SciFantasy: Like the mother-fing names says this one has sci-fi and fantasy based songs on the channel, and I enjoy listening to it from time to time, (As I am typing this, I’m listening to this channel)

SquareAMP.com: This one has been around for a while, and it has a large number of Square songs as well.

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I recently watched Lower Decks on Net-flicks and found myself amazed with the performance from the young and lovely Shannon Fill , who played the character Ensign Sito Jaxa. Jaxa showed up in two episodes of TNG, actually they were two important episodes.   There was a nice arc to her character too.   Her character was killed off in Lower Decks , but there were plans to bring her back for an episode of DS9. From Memory Alpha , ((One story considered by the writing staff concerned the return of  Sito Jaxa  from  TNG : " Lower Decks ". The pitch had Sito being imprisoned under inhumane conditions and suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.  Robert Hewitt Wolfe  developed the story for some time. Madison Swan/Mia Malkova: Not so Mother's Day

I’ve written about some messed up things in my time as a blogger, but this story might just top the cake.  And, I mean really.  If you are offended by porn and the porn industry, don’t read this blog.  However, this might be one of the strangest and creepiest things I’ve seen and read about.  It just seems so wrong... A few days ago, I stumbled across an Amateur Allure (porn) video.   AA is a polished porn site that features a lot of POV shots and newcomers in the industry.   Also, there is MILF/step daughter (pretending) porn thing out there and it’s very popular.   Even AA has a few of these “fake” mother/step-daughter teams.   It is a very popular Genre in the industry.   However, this one is different.   AA had a video claiming that a fledging pornstar Madison Swan/Mia Malkova   did a Pre-Audition video with her mother tagging along…her real mother.  Mia/Madison shows up for her “audition”, which means you show ...

Bernie Mac is Dead A bit of upsetting news... ((CHICAGO (AP) — Bernie Mac, the actor and comedian who teamed up in the casino heist caper "Ocean's Eleven" and gained a prestigious Peabody Award for his sitcom "The Bernie Mac Show," died Saturday at age 50. )) I remember watching him on Def Comedy Jam , where he really broke out. If you get a chance, check out some of his earlier work on that show. I think he was able to really shine in some of the roles he took in his movie career. He seemed to always play the creepy guy that wore bad clothes and talk in strange patterns. Friday : He was great in this limited role. He played Pastor Clever, the horny Pastor.
