the weakest and wimpiest fight

This is probably the weakest and wimpiest fight I've ever witnessed Was it the skinny jeans restricting their movements? There are girls that fight better than these two.

Lisa Marie Presley: So Long and thanks for all the thetan bills?

Lisa Marie Presley: (The other departure?) Because everyone is watching and listening to the whole Tom and Katie thingy, people overlooked a somewhat other famous Scientology member named Lisa Marie Presley that may have left the Church. From The Village Voice, (( Last month, we noted that Lisa Marie Presley's single "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet," which she released ahead of her new album,  Storm and Grace , came with lyrics that  read like a kiss-off to the Church of Scientology , even using some of Scientology's jargon -- like the very telling word  suppressive . (For several years there have been rumors that Presley was disillusioned with the church.) )) Here are some of the damning lyrics from her song. ((This here is a city without lights Those are all the people without eyes Churches, they don't have a soul Soup for sale without a bowl Religion so corrupt and running lives Farewell, fair weathered friends I can't say I'll mis...

Spoiler Dude

I hate to say this, but this Spoiler Dude is straight up me... That Guy Who Spoils Every TV Show (Warning: Spoilers!) -- powered by Cracked.com Yes, I am this guy sometimes. I personally don't have the same aversion to spoilers like most people anyway.

Evil Doll

Probably the most evil thing I've ever seen and heard...holy crap! It sounds and looks like Jack Nicholson when its batteries are low. What kid would want to buy this creepy thing?   Even the damn ad is creepy.

Medal of Honor: Underground (Returning to Paris)

Medal of Honor: Underground (Returning to Paris) This is one of my favorite tracks from the Underground score. I think Michael Giacchino did an amazing with this track. It has a “march” feel to it.

Prometheus (part 2)

Image
Prometheus (part 2) Besides the great directing, one of the best things about the movie is the casting.   While the cast isn’t as blue-collar as the Alien cast.   There are more characters to deal with in this movie.   The ones that the story decides to focus on are very cool.   - Noomi Rapace plays the lead character and she goes through some major stuff in this story.  I liked her naïve outlook to her findings and her loss in her faith when she realizes that her findings are more sinister than they were led to believe.  There is a great scene involving a piece of machinery that is both disturbing and interesting to watch.  I couldn’t believe how horrifying it is.  - Michael Fassbender : Fassbender plays David the android.  David steals the show in every scene that he is in.  David is a very complex character with different motives.  I really loved the way Michael handles the character.  David is a great character t...

Happy 4th and I give GI Joe The Movie Opening

Image
Happy 4 th and I give GI Joe The Movie Opening I posted this before, but here it is again. This is the opening to the first GI Joe movie from 1987. Even people that hated this early movie have to admit that this opening is total kick ass. It is an extended version of the the GI Joe theme. ~Does Snake Eyes give the “ok” sign for a few seconds? ~Bazooka almost shoots Shipwreck's head off. I always liked that cartoon moment. ~The Cobra flying base that blows: I believe that ship has shown up on the show a few times.

Why would anyone want a shirt like this?

Image
Why would anyone want a shirt like this? “ I'm Fine” Someone going to stop you and actually ask you if you're okay. It looks a little bit too real for my taste. I wouldn't want a shirt that draws attention toward me. I want to be left alone. I guess that's the point.  I generally hate shirts that have statements and words on them anyway.  Except for the Juicy shorts.  Eww, really?

RIP Andy Griffith (AKA Matlock)

RIP Andy Griffith (AKA Matlock) From TMZ , (( Andy Griffith , an icon of TV, has died ... this according to Andy's close friend, former UNC President Bill Friday.  )) I was never a fan of The Andy Griffith Show, but I pretty much watched every single episode of Matlock in reruns. Because my mother was a huge fan of the show, I ended up watching it too. And, I started watching it by myself on cable. Matlock really connected with the old people and me.  I kind of like that his character was set in his ways, which I am starting to see in myself as I get older.   Heck, Matlock went on for so long that it switched networks. It lasted for almost ten years. I also remember Griffith reprising his Matlock role on Diagnosis Murder .  I spent a lot of summer mid-days watching the show.   Griffith played the character well. I can’t see Griffith without seeing Matlock. You will be missed Matlock.
