Lady Antebellum vs. Alan Parsons Project  The Black Eyed Peas  of Country?  I heard them play the comparison on the Smod Cast morning show , and I found the whole thing amusing.   Some country group called Lady Antebellum wrote a song called “Need You Now”.   Many people noticed that song sounds similar to The Alan Parsons Project “Eye in the Sky”.   The similarities are striking.   Think of it like the Smurfs and the Snorks; they’re too similar to be random.      However, would you call it a reboot or remake of the APP song?   How about calling it a sequel?   The Antebellum folks probably were drunk off of moonshine and were listening to APP and came up with their unofficial remake.   That doesn’t take away from their supposed thief.  Make sure to check out the website That Song Sounds Like a side by side comparison.

Worst work uniforms? AOL has a post of the worst job uniforms ever list . Some of them I agree with, but others are down right cool. I used to wear a Kroger uniform, but luckily the shirt was just a collar shirt with your own jeans. Swiss Guards: I really dig these uniforms. They are very old school uniforms from an era where people still used swords and spears as weapons. Heck, I want one to wear around the city. Hooters uniform: I'm sorry, but I love these uniforms. Cyclists uniforms: Okay, now you're hitting home with me. While I don't wear these things, many people have the body for the tight-fitting outfits. You will never see me wear one. I remember when people wore bicycle shorts outside of bicycling. Mormon Missionaries: When I see these guys cycling toward me, I turn the other way.   

The Macarena:  I hate this song What in the hell were we smoking in the 90s?  I remember hating this song back in the 1990s.  It makes me want to stab myself…repeatedly.  The song was so popular that you couldn’t get away from it.  Something about the sheer shitty-ness na blandness that bothers me about the song.  Maybe it is the wild “extreme” colors or the bad lip-synching by the models in the music video.  From what I can gather, the song is about a slutty girl named Macarena.  I believe this Macarena chick admits to having sex with her boyfriend’s two friends when he was out of town.  Then, she brags about it in a public song.  (WTF) Then, they modeled a dance around her.  Brilliant…Anyway, the dance moves are just as bad as the song.  I hated seeing even grandmothers dancing to the song.  It kind of boggles the mind to know that your mother is dancing to a song about a slutty girl that cheats on her boy...

Okay, I need to start watching Conan First off, Jennifer Garner looks amazing in that dress.  What a body.  Second, I have to wonder if this was planned.  I’m not sure.  Her reaction to the dictionary seemed real.  And, I love his evil laugh.  From Dictionary.com ((Snuck:  a past participle and simple past tense of  sneak. )) Out of all people, Jennifer Garner of Alias fame should know the term “snuck”.  And, yes, I’ve actually corrected someone’s correction before.  We were talking about Batman Forever, and I said, “Holy rusted metal, Batman.”  The guy said, “He said, “Holy rusted rock, James.”  He swore up and down that that was the line.  I brought in the page of the script and showed him the next day that he was wrong.  Yes, I take it that far. 

McDonald’s fight: Cashier beats up mad customers  It is kind of brutal... Yes, the McDonald’s worker beats down both people with a pole of some type. To be fair, the two people jumped over the counter to attack him, but the beating after they both fall to the floor was too much. But, you can't beat up two women like that and continue to beat them up. The cashier that beat the living hell out of the two women is named Rayon McIntosh. Something tells me he didn't learn that in the training videos. So, what happened to the two women? From CNN , ((The two women suffered lacerations to their head and face and were taken to a hospital, police said. CNN affiliates said one had a fractured skull and a broken arm; the other had a deep laceration)) Crap, he beat them hard. McIntosh was arrested and the women were charged to even though they're in the hospital. From CNN (( Authorities identified them as Denise Darbeau and Rachael Edwards, and charged them ...

Chris Trucker (update) I guess I now know what Mr. Tucker has been doing...not paying his taxes . Now, the government wants its 11 million. It seems he made that 20 million from Rush Hour 3 and didn't pay taxes.   

April O'Neil: The Geek Pornstar? Looks like it MC mentioned her in my preview for the Star Trek TNG XXX movie. He showed me her old blog and I read through some of it . She played Deanna Troi in the film. Well, she was mentioned in the recent Mighty Sabo and Son podcast. And, they also mentioned that she was a geek and very cute too. So, I quickly flew to my computer to look up this April O'Neil..for pure research mind you. She had a blogspot (Not safe for work!) blog for a while before switching over to tumblr, which you can check out here . ( It is not safe for work either )   Tron!  She wears it ten times better than the Tron Guy. Miss O'Neil is very cute and seems to have a geek mind. I mean any girl that is up on her Dr. Who is ten times cooler. And, I should have put two and two together with her performer name being April O'Neil, you know the girl that helped out the Teenage Mutant Turtles. Her look is a cross between Kim Kardashian...

The Avengers Trailer Marvel has put a lot effort into mixing all the Marvel movies into one universe, and this movie is the payoff.   The Marvel Movie universe is a cross between the main Marvel universe and the Ultimate universe.    After this trailer, I am looking forward to seeing the movie next year.   I’ve kept away from most spoilers, but I do know that there are aliens involved with the story.   From the IMDB page , (( The S.H.I.E.L.D. agency brings together a team of superhumans to help save the Earth from annihilation by extraterrestrial invaders. )) Yep, the main villains appear to be the Skrull/Chitauri...maybe.  Notes ~The editing at beginning of the trailer feels a little too Transformers-ish for my taste.   Even the music riffs are too much like it.   ~There’s a fat cop running away from a huge explosion with a group of other people. Something tells me he didn’t get away.   ~I like them showing Loki?   ...
