FFIX overworld theme remix
While I wasn't a fan of FFIX, I really dug the music to the game. It felt less midi and more like real instruments and they used a lot of real instruments this time around. While FF7's overworld theme is better, I really did the calmness in the tune and slow beat. Anyway, check out the remix above.
My other favorite Overworld theme is from FFVIII. It's called Blue Fields. I always got upset when I heard the swooshing sound when a random battle would erupt.

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I recently watched Lower Decks on Net-flicks and found myself amazed with the performance from the young and lovely Shannon Fill , who played the character Ensign Sito Jaxa. Madison Swan/Mia Malkova: Not so Mother's Day

I’ve written about some messed up things in my time as a blogger, but this story might just top the cake.  And, I mean really.  If you are offended by porn and the porn industry, don’t read this blog.  However, this might be one of the strangest and creepiest things I’ve seen and read about.  It just seems so wrong... Sega Saturn Netlink (One of the first official online consoles) Do you remember the Sega Saturn's online functions? Before 13 year old zit-faced boys talked smack to you on the Xbox Live, there was The Sega Netlink. Part 2 and Part 3 Wiki page . While going through the great post on the Sega Saturn at Eidolon's Inn , I came across the information that there was a network link up to the Sega Saturn. It should be noted that there was an near-online option to the Sega Genesis through the Sega Channel. However, the Saturn had big plans for network gaming at the time. The technology simply wasn't there for all their plans, because the speed was 28.8 k. The Saturn never lived up to its fullest potential because of sluggish sells.
