Bowfinger:
I don’t see what other people see in this movie. I know that many
people really love this movie. Eddie
Murphy is really annoying as the nerdy brother.
Heather
Graham is very cute. I just don’t like the “making
the movie on the fly” bit about the story. Again, I really don't
see what everyone else sees in this movie. I found it completely
boring, with the exception of Heather Graham. It is amusing that the
movie they filmed within the movie makes about as much sense as Pluto
Nash or Meet Dave.
Boogie Nights II: The Return of Roller Girl

Nutty
Professor II: The Klumps: When too much is not enough, you get
this uneven movie. It is not even close to being as funny as the
first movie. Where as the first NP had restraint, this movie goes
for broke in a bad way. How about a giant hamster shitting out poop
at people? Do you remember the dinner scene in the NP with the Klump
Family? Well, you're going to get an entire movie with these
characters. And, the movie misses the point the first movie. It was the message of true love is from the inside and not the outside. What is the message of this one? Pooping Hamsters? Why did
they bring in a different love interest for Klump? Sadly, Janet
Jackson isn't that good. This was the sliding point in Eddie's
career. Oh, and there is talk of a third film being made. Stay
away, folks.

Shrek:
Since Eddie is only a sidekick character, the downward fall of his
movies didn't touch this film. I've come to really enjoy the first
movie, and Eddie as Donkey is very funny. I think Donkey and Shrek
make a good team. And, the Disney bashing is always funny to watch,
and it is even funnier when you remember Eddie played a Disney
character in Mulan. Despite the troubled pre-post production (Chris Farley dying) Shrek turned out to be a huge hit.

Dr.
Dolittle 2: Oh, boy. I will say this; the entire cast of voice
actors is awesome. There is even an uncredited cameo by Arnold
Schwarzenegger. I mean everyone is in this damn movie. Too bad
it isn't that funny. It is just another poorly rushed sequel like
The Klumps.

Showtime:
A reality show based on a hard edge cop being forced to work with a
Hollywood cop...This movie isn't that bad, given that it came out
during the second boom in reality shows. There are some funny
moments, but most of those moments are coming from William Shanter.
The Wiki has Shatner listed as TJ Hooker, while IMDB has him as
“Himself”. Very strange. Anyway, it is nearly not as good as
his earlier work.

In space, no one can hear your movie bomb.
The
Adventures of Pluto Nash: When a script is floating around
Hollywood since the 80s through rewrites and revisions, you know the
end product will be a total mess. The studio finished the movie in
2000, and it sat on the vault for two freaking years. This is
probably one of the worst movies ever made. I am dead series. Hey,
let's put Eddie Murphy on the moon. Nobody saw this movie, and I
mean no one! A Thousand Words had a similar opening.
