Random Things
~Eddie Murphy's take on Star Trek: This is from Eddie’s old stand up comedy Delirious. This was back when he was funny and before Pluto Nash and Norbit.
~Earthworm Jim on the PSP (canceled): The game was supposed to come out in 2006, but Atari canceled it, due the money problems, even though the game was nearly complete (wiki says 80%). (As seen in the video demo in the link) It’s a remake, but I’m amazed how good the game looks on the PSP.
~Fox finally got around to canceling MadTV. I didn't even know this crappy 'comedy' show was still on the air even today. Fox tends to cancel things prematurely, yet they kept this show going for years. Watching the show get canceled is probably one of the funniest things that's happened on Madtv for years.
Don't get me wrong, there are some great moments here and there, but not even Fox bothered to promote that the show was still on the air. There was a window that people started to use catch phrases from the show, but even that's long gone. And there have been some cast members that have made names for themselves. But, I saw it being a slightly better version of In Living Color.
~It also looks like Christian Slater is out of a job...again. NBC has canceled his show My Own Worst Enemy. His worst enemy seems to be the freaking network. I never got around to watching this show, but the premise seemed interesting to me. Slater can go back to doing nothing again.

And it is a shame about Earthworm Jim.
Fox always treated the show like a stepchild. But you're right early on the show was hot and people talked about how much better the writing was to SNL at the time.
What were his reasons for leaving Mad TV?
BTW, I always enjoyed Artie Lange's stories about his time there.
