MCI Commercial with Leonard Nimoy, TOS Cast and Jonathan Frakes

Man, I remember this phone commercial.  It had the entire TOS cast, and you throw in fan-favorite Frakes. By the way, MCI was a long-distance phone company when you needed a separate company to call long distances. Remember that?  Their competitor was AT&T.  Verizon would later buy MCI.  These Trek commercials bring back memories.  Would the Discovery crew get the same recognition twenty years from now? 

Sorry Charlie: The Adelson Family drama for ya momma

Everything I say is opinion and conjecture.  So, don’t sue me, shithead Adelson Family.  

What makes the entire family evil and morally bankrupt is that everything they do behind the scenes is terrible.  Not only did they conspire to kill a family man, but they even wanted to place the blame on an innocent man.  They were willing to let a person not involved get the rap.  Charlie planned and paid the middle woman, Katie, to get the ball rolling.  After the murder, Katie, Charlie, and Donna continued their lives as if nothing had happened.  Well, the chickens have come home to roost.  Katie and her hubby have life sentences.  Charlie will be sitting in jail for over a year, waiting for his trial to come up.  I hope he is the next one to face the music, so to speak.  

Chris Chan Is Out Of Jail...

So, what has Chris Chan been up to since his arrest? Not much of anything.  Keep in mind that the PD put Chris in jail for sexually assaulting his mother.  There was talk of putting the case in front of a grand jury, which would have likely lead to a trial.  Well, I just looked up his whereabouts and Chris Chan has been released from jail.  He’s been bonded out…by someone.  It is terrifying that this monster is waddling around.  It looks like he is still looking at getting his day in court.

Star Trek Picard S03E06

So, there is a new android that is more human than other versions. This android has the memories of Lal, Data, Lore, and B4.  This allows Brent Spiner to do all these emotions and personalities in one body.  It is an exciting concept.  I also love the appearance of the old Star Trek starships sitting in a museum.  I love seeing Enterprise-A, Voyager, and Defiant. Extraordinary moments are being shown in this season and a hat-tip DS9 and Voyager. 

This show keeps getting better and better.  

Amanda Bynes: Gone wild, actually.

Remember Amanda Bynes?  

Amanda was that actress that was popular back in the early 2000s.  She became known for her mental incidents during her latter days.  She went crazy on social media and it became somewhat an entertainment.  However, it came out that something weird was going on between Dan Schneider and her.  

Well, Amanda has backslid and ended up naked roaming the streets confused.  So, she now has a psychiatric hold order in place, which is a good idea.  Something happened to Amanda in her past to have her act out in this way.  Could it be her time on those kids’ shows with a certain producer?  That’s just my opinion.  

Getting back to the Dan and Amanda thing.  Recently, a video of Dan and Amanda was leaked on Twitter.  It seems a bit strange.  Did he fart in the hot tub?  Why is a grown man sitting in a tub with one of his young actresses? 

Star Trek Picard Season 3 Episode 5 Imposters

Star Trek Picard season 3 is starting to become a great story.  I truly love that the TNG crew is dealing with the enemies of DS9.  In episode 5, Ensign Ro shows up after 30 years.  I didn’t see that coming.  I literally said, “OMG, that’s Ensign Ro”

Given that the Dominion killed or hunted down the Maquis, I thought Ro was one of the fallen.  It is revealed in this episode that Ro quit the group and turned herself into Star Fleet.  She’s been working as a security/investigator, looking into the Changelings.  

Ro was one of my favorite characters from TNG because she had an edge and a chip on her shoulder.  She reminded me of myself.  She is also the basis for Kira Nerys over on DS9, another favorite character of mine.  

It is good that the episode concludes the hanging storyline from season 7 with Picard and Ro.  Just as they bring her back, they take her away.  Those dirty Changelings. 

Mercyhurst University Hockey Player throws a wheelchair down the stairs

Despite the fact we are divided, there comes someone that everyone can rally to hate for their deeds. That person is Carson Briere.  

Make fun of people, and mock them, but this goes far beyond that.  I haven’t seen something this evil in a long time.  Pushing a disabled person’s wheelchair down the stairs is just low.  Learn to leave people alone and let them be. It is a dick move, bro. 

The guy that did it was/is a Mercyhurst University hockey player.  The dude-bro that did it is a trust fund baby with entitlement,  His father is a CEO for some hockey team, I guess.  It is strange to see stories about his father without the recent story about the wheelchair.  It could get his father fired.  Well, the dude-bro did apologize.  

Did I mention that the dude-bro was booted from Arizona’s hockey team for partying too much?  F’ this guy. 

Remember, Kato Kaelin

A few months back, I decided to look up the loser Kato Kaelin.  No one has had this question in almost 20 years.  Kato was one of those talentless hacks that worm their way into famous people’s homes. He was the roommate that no one wanted.  He lived with OJ during the murder trial and was a witness. The man was a meme.  He attempted to springboard this fame into something long-lasting.  It failed.  

I looked him up on YouTube.  To my surprise, he did an interview with DJ Vlad.  He still comes across as bland and dumb.  So, he hasn’t changed.  Never change, Kato.  

Now I know, and knowing is half the battle. 

Bryan Kohberger: taking out the trash

The more I hear about this Bryan guy, the more uneasy I feel about him.  It is clear that he has been stalking these girls for a long time.  He made online advances toward them and demanded that they talk to him. He scouted out their house and followed them IRL.  This shit is creepy. When the FBI and Local PD busted in, Kohberger was caught taking his garbage out of the bags.  He knew you don’t need the warrant to take someone’s trash, and helps make him look guilty.    

Growing up, I wasn’t an attractive kid and didn’t have an outgoing personality.  I had development problems holding me back.  Plus, I liked stupid nerdy shit like trains, Transformers, Star Wars, and Star Trek.  In the 80s, the cool girls did not even want to be bothered by me. I had to come to the conclusion that I was always going to be friend zoned, so I moved on with my life.  I found hobbies and jobs to help me improve.  Work on yourself and stop worrying about getting laid.  Kohberger was consumed with hate because women did not want to deal with him. 

Star Trek Picard: Some thoughts so far

While I love Lower Decks and Strange New Worlds, I really love the third season of Star Trek Picard.  I didn’t like most of the modern stuff in S2, but S3 is knocking it out of the park.  These are the things I wanted to see in the first two seasons of Picard.  Seeing the old TNG crew return for one more adventure is simply fun.  

The new show makers have a love for the entire franchise by throwing in references to the movies and the 90s Trek shows.  The biggest reveal this season is the reappearance of the Changelings from DS9.  That was a big twist and it makes sense.  I still think there are even more villains from the past that will show up.  

Episode Four is a heartwarming episode, directed by Frakes, that has some major emotional beats.  There is even a tie to Encounter at Farpoint while making even more connections to DS9.  I love the space jellyfish.  Are they babies from the aliens from the TNG first episode?  

Did I mention that Jeri Ryan is brilliant? She has great chemistry with the entire TNG cast. Who would have thought that a VOY person would fit right in with the TNG people? She is better here than in VOY.

Can’t wait for more Picard.  

And, I’ve given up on Discovery. 

No talent and no power...

So, where have I been?  A terrible storm swept through Louisville last weekend and knocked down over 200 power lines. The winds were 60-70 MPH. I lost power for three days.  Remember that the temperature was in the 40s on Friday night and wasn’t fun. I also had to take cold showers.  The good news is the power returned on Monday. 

Karen Starts Trouble With Hells Angels In Front Of Their Compound!

I wouldn't want to f’ with these guys.  Notice how they emerged from their compound and stared at her.  These guys don’t play.  I noticed that the Karen doesn’t let them even get threatened by her, because she talks over them.  I sort of like that because it nullifies their power a little.  She is brave for standing her ground, if not foolish because they have her name and where she lives.  Why would you want to shake up the hornet’s nest?
