The 2008 Razzies Nominees are out
As you already know, the Golden Raspberry award is given out to the worst movies of the year. It's like the Academy Awards for shit movies.
Here are a few in the running
Worst Picture:
Speed Racer: Still haven’t seen this one yet, I plan on reviewing it.
Disaster Movie and Meet the Spartans: Both of these were made by the same people and Disaster Movie was filmed with a span of a few months last year and thrown out to theaters only a few months later.
The Hottie & The Nottie: Who told Paris she could beyond her Night-vision filmed porn tape. You’ll find better acting in her stupid sex tape, but not by much.
The Love Guru: Man, this has to be one of the worst movies I’ve seen this year. I love that someone actually left me a negative comment in my review about this film.
Meet Dave: Well, it made someone’s list.
Comment: Why wasn’t Frank Miller’s The Spirit not on the list?
Worst Actor:
Dane Cook: I don't want him to win, because he'll actually show up to the award show just to give himself some comedy credibility, and to boost his sales.
Mike Myers: The Love Guru hurt badly, and I think he needs to win this award.
Larry the Cable Guy: He must be stopped.
Worst Actress:
Paris Hilton: She deserves to win. Knowing her, she'll actually show up to receive her award.
Vanessa Hudgens: Come on, she's cute as heck. Don't be mean to her.
The cast of “The Women”: I've never had the misfortune of seeing this movie.
Worst Director:
Uwe Boll: He deserves it, but I think they'll overlook him. Plus, he'll make a stupid video response to the reward, calling everyone D-bags or something.
Jason Friedberg & Aaron Seltzer: These guys are really the ones that will probably receive the award. This year they've proven that they can crap out a terrible movie in number of months.
M Night Shyamalan: He is the wild card in the whole thing. I'd love to see his reaction to winning this award. he'd probably get into a funk and disappear.
I am honestly not surprised by the Hottie and the Nottie being on that list.
ReplyDeleteIt might just win too, but I hope it doesn't. I'm tempted to rent this mess of a movie.
ReplyDeleteWho knows this might be Boll's moment.
