More Sex tape news...

Kid Rock doesn’t want a certain Sex Tape from being released

Comment: The king of the trailer park Kid Rock is attempting to stop a Sex Video from hitting the web.

((DETROIT — Kid Rock has won an initial victory in his attempt to stop a California company from releasing an explicit sex video featuring the rap-rocker, former Creed singer Scott Stapp and four women.))

Given that I hate watching Kid Rock’s Music Videos, I wont be watching his sex tape anytime soon.

Wasn’t Creed kind of like a Christan group? What does sleeping with two women and Kid Rock have to do with being religious?

((On Tuesday, Kid Rock's lawyers sued Red Light, which made headlines in 2004 by distributing the Paris Hilton sex video, accusing the firm of violating Kid Rock's trademark and privacy rights. The lawsuit seeks a permanent court order halting sale or distribution of the video.))

Useless fact: that at one time Kid Rock was dating a real pornstar.

Brand New Rule: Having two women in your bedroom is fine. (Actually it’s more than fine!) Having two women and another man in the bedroom isn’t.

  1. Creed presented themselves as a religious group to get themselves big (in other words, get more money). Their records have never been distributed at religious bookstores.

  3. Actually, the rest of the band just wanted to be a rock and roll band, and were not religious by any stripe.

Scott Stapp, the child of a Pentecostal minister, has struggled with his faith for years and happened to be the songwriter for the group.

Thus, part of the genius of Creed was that they played strong rock songs, and had lyrics that relied on subjects other than just sex and drugs.

So I would not say that Creed was a Christian band by any stretch. However, Scott Stapp has gone on record as being a Christian, and is going through mountainous struggles with how to live out his faith. Cause don't we all struggle with alcohol and orgies?

  4. I see your point, and you're right that he seems to have fallen on bad times of late.

Thanks for dropping by my blog, scott.
