So Long and
Thanks for all the Fish
What a great way
to open a movie like this. I read the books and this always put a
smile on my face. This is one of the best things about the
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It is written in a chipper tone
and tempo, but the lyrics are actually very dark. However, that sums
up the tone of Douglas Adams' work.
I'd like to think
the Dolphins just got fed up with us and said, “Screw you guys.
We're out.”
My
favorite line, ((You may not share our intellect
Which might explain your disrespect
For all the natural wonders that
grow around you))
Which might explain your disrespect
For all the natural wonders that
grow around you))
The song turns into the certain theme of the third act of the movie.
