MC Hammer: Better Run Run

MC Hammer: Better Run Run
Okay, I wanted to really hate this new music video and song, but I actually liked the song better than I thought I would. I read a while back that Jay-Z and Hammer kind of had feud of some kind, but I don't have the whole story.
The music video is middle-of-the-road, but the song isn't that bad. And, it is kind of catchy. I really dig the singing voices in the song more than anything else. But, Hammer has a fairly nice flow in the song. It is certainly better than the crap he was making during his “Patriotic days”.
Gone are the days of Hammer producing over-priced music video, now they look more like outtakes from Paranormal Activity.
Is this strange diss song enough to get Hammer back in the good graces of Hip-Hop fans? Probably not, but it is interesting to see him try.
Grade: C+
Notes
-Did we need a 1:19 of people sitting in a board meeting and having Hammer ramble on?
-Was he baptizing the Jay-Z look-a-like or drowning him?
-So, this is a diss about Jay-Z. Does Jay-Z even care at this point?
-There are a lot of cult images in this video. So, Hammer thinks Jay-Z sold his soul to the Devil, Jay-Z.
-Some of the best dancing isn't even done by Hammer in the video.
-Is Hammer calling himself King Hammer now?
-We now are aware that only MC Hammer can stop the Devil. When did he get this super power?
-That means only Hammer can save Jay-Z's soul.
