Conan out and Leno (The big chinned Doritos guy) is back in?
Hollywood insider Nikki Finke is reporting that NBC is playing hard-ball with Conan after supposedly giving the Tonight Show to Leno. And, that guy with the squeaky voice has his show back.
Here's the best part of the story, ((At 12:35 a.m. ET. Last week also saw Conan deliver bigger audiences than CBS's Late Show with David Letterman and the ABC lineup of Nightline and Jimmy Kimmel Live in adults, men and women 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54. Conan has finished #1 or tied for #1 among broadcast networks in adult 18-49 rating for nine of the last 11 weeks. The median age of Conan’s audience last week was 45.6, nine years younger than Nightline's" 55.0 and 11 years younger than Letterman’s 57.3." ))
So, NBC doesn't want the age groups of 18-35 in the demo? That doesn't make much sense. Leno always has an older audience, while Conan a bit younger. Keep in mind this is the same company that took a whole year to cancel the Knight Rider remake. This is also the same company that still has Heroes in their lineup despite the fact even the writers have given up on that show.
Look for a video from Jay Leno's show tonight where Jimmy Kimmel did that stupid 10@10... Kimmel destroyed Leno.
ReplyDeletePer your suggestion, I just checked the video out. It was great, plus I enjoyed that even Jay Leno made a reference to it on his show.
