((Trendy high school student Parker Lewis (a character similar to Ferris Bueller), for whom, as suggested by his motto, "Not a problem," nothing is impossible. Like his best buds Mikey Randall and Jerry Steiner, and his girlfriend Annie Sloane, his prime concern is achieving and maintaining coolness during the turbulent years of puberty. However, their efforts keep being thwarted by Parker's little sister, Shelly, and principal Grace Musso. Remember this show? I used to really love this teenage comedy. People say this show as was truly inspired by Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

-Parker Lewis is the cool kid in school.

-He has a sister that hates him and wants to sabotage his life.

-Parker has a shy/wimpy friend like Ferris.

I had fond memories of this show back in the day. I loved the first two seasons, but hated the third season. And, I thought Principal Grace Musso was hot. The show lost its crazy (fourth wall breaking) jokes for a more mainstream teen drama. All the sight gags were dropped as well, and the show was dropped after that.

The other thing I wanted to point out is that there was a "Ferris Bueller" TV show that came out at the same time as this show, but this show only lasted one season.

They take a jab at the movie and Matthew Broderick at the same time. That’s interesting because I heard John Hughes hated the show. Was that a jab at Mr. Hughes too?

And, yes, that is a very young Jennifer Aniston playing his sister. Aniston would later be know for well…getting dumped by really attractive guys.

Watching both shows, I’ve noticed that Bueller had a bigger budget, but Lewis had better characters and writing. (Bueller was on NBC and Lewis was on Fox)

After Bueller was cancelled, they took a jab at that show with Bueller showing up on that show (in the shadows) and commenting how well the Parker Lewis show was made.
