The New Ghostbusters Videogame Trailer…

The New Ghostbusters Videogame Trailer…

Okay, I’m sold. I didn’t like everything in the trailer, but hearing Bill Murray’s voice has me onboard.

Check out the cast returning for the voice work…

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1142978/

Besides Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, and Annie Potts will all return. This could still be a bad game, but we’ll see.

The strange returning character is Walter Peck with William Atherton reprising the role. Atherton is the actor you go to for asshole characters like the one from the Die Hard Series.

Rick Moranis will not be back, but he’s pretty much stopped acting all together, with the exception of a few Disney voiceover work. And, that surprised many people because he’s done a lot of voice work.

I have a few questions…

With the Stay-Puff Marshmallow man returning, does that mean Vigo (the master of evil) will return?

What about Bobby Brown or is he too coked out to return?

Will Ray Parker Jr. make another song related to the franchise? I ain’t afraid no ghost.

  1. I hope it turns out good. Atari is not known for any recent hits, but I think they have the feel of the Ghostbusters down fairly well...let's just hope the final boss doesn't involve piloting the Statue of Liberty through the streets of New York.

  2. Man, I hope not, but seeing the stay-puff we might just see that happening.

Yeah, Atari has been doing crap for years and I'm surprised they're not out of business, yet.

  3. The thing that should have you worried is this list. That is the other games that the company working on the next gen versions of the game have worked on.

  4. That is a bad list. Yeah, this is going to be a bad game. Here's hopping they can pull off the cutscenes.
