WB brings in someone new for The Flash film
After the announcement that David Goyer was pushed out of directing/writing The Flash, WB has stated that they have a new director coming in for The Flash film, Shawn Levy. So, what has this director done to warrant doing The Flash? Cheaper by the Dozen and The Pink Panther with Steve Martin. He also did the Box Office smash Night at the Museum for what its worth. I'm not thrilled with this news, but as one guy in the message boards pointed out, people forget that Tim Burton sort of came from this similar background as well. Except, I have a feeling Levy is more of a Yes-Man than Goyer or some of the others. This might be a good thing, because Flash is more light-hearted than say Batman and Superman.
Just don't hire Ben Stiller or Steven Martin.
i agree no phreaking Martin. So i'm not alone. Someone else in the world finally notices that some directors and some producers seems to carry the exact same actors around to different projects and yet they seem to think they will get different results...
ReplyDeleteApparantly they think the Actors should be able to ... ACT.
silly movie execs.
You're right, they seem to drag along these actors like good luck charms.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he owes Martin some cash, or the other way around
